"What a long ass day," Cameron says opening her locker as well as Violet and I.

"Thank God it's over, I hate thursdays." I answer and Violet only nods.

The tension between Violet and Cameron is pretty noticeable and that's why I need to do comments about everything when there's an awkward silence.

Cameron still hasn't talk to her and that's making Violet more and more pissed. On the other hand, Matt talks to her every single day. I think they're going to work it out.

"I'm going to go now, bye." Violet mumbles and smiles at me, closing her locker.

"You really should talk to her." I say to Cameron.

"I know, but I don't know what to say. I'm embarrased."

"I know you are, but you made a mistake. Go talk to her, right now."

"But she-" I cut her off.

"I know she just left, but go. She's going to be there." I say and she nods, quickly grabs her stuff and goes away.

I finally finish grabbing everything I need and I make my way towards the door. There's no better feeling that leaving school after a long day.

I grab my phone to text Noah and see if he has left yet, I don't feel like taking the bus or walking home.

To Noah: please tell me you're still at school or you really love me so you're going to pick me up???? :)

From Noah: you're annoying
From Noah: i'm on my way

I sit down on a bench in front of the school, waiting for my brother as I keep using my phone.

My eye catches a car parking not that far away from me. I see a familiar face walking towards the school. Memories flashes in my mind.

"Miss Jensen?"

"Yes? Malena?" Her eyes go big and she smiles, I missed that smile.

"I can't believe it! Miss!" She hugs me and I hug her back.

"I didn't know you moved here."

"Yes, a few months ago. How about you, Miss?" It's weird calling her Miss after all these years.

"Call me Lisa," she laughs "my husband works here. When I was working in Hawaii he was here the whole time. So when I had vacation I'd always come here. With my children, of course."

I have known her for a lot of time now and I have never know that she had children. Or a husband.

"Children? I didn't know."

"Yes, I'm picking them up actually. We live far away from school so it's easier for all of us to come back at our home at the same time."

"That's really cute, Miss- I mean, Lisa"

"Maybe you know them. Madison and Andrew Taggart?"

I choke with my own saliva. What? They're siblings? They're Miss Jensen's sons?

"Yeah, actually I know them." I feel my smile fade away. And so does Lisa's.

I see my brother's car and I thank God for saving me from this awkward situation.

"I have to go now, but it was really nice to see you again." I say and hug her.
