Celeste made her way past the pool down the pathway that led the way to the dock, taking her shoes off halfway, her dress flowing behind her as her feet hit the wood of the dock. Making her way to the end she let out a deep breath as she looked up at the sky.
"God what am I doing?" she said out loud like someone would answer her, she could hear laughter and the faint music booming from the house. A few moments later she heard footsteps hitting the dock and coming towards her, she let out a breath knowing who it was. Aaron apeared beside her looking straight ahead at the lake.
"I can't do this" she let out, Aaron turned his head and looked down at her.
"What do you mean?" he asked, Celeste looked out at the lake where you could see the lights of other houses around.
"I worked so hard to get where I am now, and I'm not talking about work. I live threw something no one should go threw. I told myself that I would never let anoter man hurt me like I've been hurt. This week YOU of all people treated me like I was trash, making me stay at the station, giving me the cold shoulder, yelling at me for no reason. I can't do this with you if this is how your going to treat me when your having a crappy day, I don't need this" Celeste said as she was trying to hold in her tears, Aaron took a deep breath in.
"You didn't deserve to be treat like I treated you" he said. Celeste turned her head and looked up at him.
"When I lost Hailey it felt like I lost everything, Never in a million years I thought I would feel love like I feel for you, you walked into the BAU and completly turned my life upside down. it scared me" Aaron said as he fully turned towards her, Celeste did the same as she wipped her tears that were rolling down her cheeks.
"It scares me because I'm so in love with you, I'm scared to lose you like I lost her. If ever I lost you Celeste it would kill me" he let out as he gently reached for Celeste's cheek and wipe her tears away with his thumb
"I love you Celeste, I love you so much and I am so sorry for the way I acted. You deserve so much better and I promise to be better" Aaron said as he took a step closer to her.
"I love you too, but my walls are completly down with you and I don't want to get hurt like I did in the past" Celeste let out, Aaron looked at her then gently reached for her shoulder and pulled her to him as he wrapped his arms around her, Celeste wrapped her arms around his waist.
"I would never hurt you like that" he let out as his chin reste on her head. Celeste took in his scent as she closed her eyes and relaxed in his hold, they both stayed in the hug for a while.
"I missed you" Aaron said as he broke the silence, Celeste lifted her head and looked up at him.
"I missed you too, but I want you to know that I was so close to beat the shit out of you on the jet" she let out, Aaron looked down at her and let out a chuckle.
"So I was told" he said. Aaron reached for under her chin and lifted her head up to look at him, he brought his head down and planted a soft kiss on her lips. it only lasted a few seconds, being broken by loud cheering noise coming from the mansion. They both turned their heads and looked at the huge house, Celeste let out a deep breath.
"It wasn't that bad" Aaron let out, Celeste looked at him and let out a hum.
"You were not here yesterday" Aaron smiled at her as he backed away, he grabbed her hand and they started walking back towards the mansion.
"And what the fuck was the recognition award? you know she pulled that out of her ass probably yesterday" Celeste let out making Aaron laugh.
"Have to admit that was a suprise, but she means well" Aaron said as they made there way back to the pool.
