We stand there waiting. Two girls to go: Eliza and of course Alicia. All we know is that after everyone left the Principal and her alone was a bad idea. Especially since the grip on her wrist was so tight she looked ill. My thoughts are distracted as soon as Eliza strolls casually into the room.
"Hi!" She says quietly.
The bathroom remains silent for a while longer and we wait. Everything's silent until we begin to get curious on why Alicia was kept behind. Had something happened in tutor that she didn't share in her earlier meeting with Emelia, Tara and I?
"Why do you think she actually got kept behind?" Tara questions curiously.
I shrug and look for someone else's response.
"Miss Lion and Ali probably arent an ideal combination." Natalia suggests stating the obvious.
We nod.
"And if something did happen Miss Lion would be the first to mention it." Adds Eliza smartly.
Again we agree and we smirk at the thought.
"But surely it would have to be major if Principal Levre had to get involved?"
I ask.
"But he's her old step-dad-"
Jessica interrupts.
"Wait what?" She exclaims extremely astonished.
"Yeah didn't you know?" Answers Emelia with a shocked attitude.
"I didn't know." I side with Jessica and so does Tara.
"He abused her...she doesn't want really mention it though." Natalia adds trying to explain Alicia's secret.
"That explains the grip on her wrist." Eliza suggests.
"Or maybe his desperation to keep her away from all of us...or all of us away from each other." Natalia explains beginning to show signs of why we're really gathered in the toilets.
"I knew it was purposeful." I declare annoyingly.

Alicia suddenly bursts in gasping.
We run over to her and she's panting heavily. Other than that she seems okay.
"Oh my god are you okay?" Eliza exclaims hugging her close.
"Yeah-just-had...to get- away-from him!" She explains with pants after every word.
"What why?" Tara cries painfully.
"I don't like being around him...too many bad memories." She mutters gaining her breath back.
We all nod and then look at Natalia eager to know why we were there and what she wants to know.

"As I was saying," she begins "he wants us all separated and he's removed what Alicia and I love from our timetables...do you think there's something he knows?"
"Wait he removed what you love too?" Jessica bursts out with outrage.
Natalia and Alicia nod. Then I copy recalling not seeing art on my timetable.
"Creative writing wasn't on mine!" Emelia points out.
"I didn't have Art either." I say whilst Eliza raises her hand to say the same.

Something was going on and maybe this was just the beginning but things were becoming pretty clear. I stare at the others and realise they've all caught on. Maybe our talents were almost combined. As if our talents could over -power the Principal and make us the most powerful students.

My thoughts are suddenly distracted when a figure bursts through the door. I hold my breath when I realise Miss Lions face recognises all of ours. She stares at us angrily the moves her focus onto Alicia.
"Get back to your tutors!" She demands pointing at the door.
The others and I roll my eyes and smirk.
"We don't know what you know but we will find out!" Jessica threatens powerfully.
"I know nothing." Miss replies blushing slightly.
"Don't play with us you mong." Alicia blurts out aggressively.
Miss' cheeks become pink with embarrassment and we can tell she's lying to us.
"I'm not you delusional children...now get back to class!" She yells opening the door for us.
We stare at each other and agree to stay put.
"Make us." Natalia declares testing the limits of the lying adult.
"Get out or Alicia will have to face the Principal."

We turn our heads and stare at the pale face of Ali. She stays still though showing no reaction.
"He-He's not a threat to me anymore." She gulps strongly.
"Really...old step-daddy doesn't scare you?" Miss Lion teases truly hiding Alicia's statement.
"She said no and even if she did we'd be there." Shouts Emelia clenching her fists.
"Like you were there for her when Mr Cameron approached her." Miss Lion fires at us thinking she'd get through to us.
"We tried!" I explain confidently admitting to our attempt.
Miss stays silent for a moment and eventually stomps out of the classroom.
A few moments later we leave silently. Everything else would be organised after school...where the teachers couldn't separate us.
