Rain fell from the grey clouds above hitting a group of moving black vans. "Already on another case and I haven't even started my vacation yet" Ubisity commented wearing a black vest "continue complaining and see what happens to that stuck-up ass of yours" I threatened to grow irritated "what's up your ass?" Ubisity asked growing mad in return "the urge to punch someone in the face right now" I replied, "really now?" Ubisity said clenching his fist as an irk mark grew on his forehead "let's not fight guys" Anki said trying to calm us down "yeah plus we are here already" Akire announced as the cars pulled up to a large sketchy building. "Alright does everyone know the plan?" I asked reloading my gun they nodded "good, let's make this quick, they probably know we are here already" I said they nodded again and left the van. I walk out to see my people waiting outside their cars ready for my orders, the rain poured down hard onto us but none cared "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" I called out, everyone straightened their backs more "today is the day we will end the Pheonix's for once and for all!" I started everyone cheered raising their fists in the air "but-" I called stopping their cheers. They listened closely to my following words "throughout this fight, we will lose soldiers, these warriors will not die in vain and will not be forgotten!" I exclaimed straightening my back tears welling up in my eyes "IT HAS BEEN A PLEASURE TO BE ALONGSIDE YOU SOLDERS, THANK YOU!" I yelled out crying and bowed and raised back up letting my tears mix with the rain everything was silent the only sound was the rain pouring down into the ground from the raging clouds above until a soldier from the front of the line bowed towards me "thank you for everything boss" they said while everyone else followed in a suit more tears streamed down my eyes and I let out a small chuckle they all rose up from bowing smiling at my gently "NOW LET'S GET THOSE FUCKERS!" I yelled rising my fist and everyone cheered raising theirs.

"Is everyone in place?" I asked into the earpiece receiving a few yes in response "good we all strike at 12" I announced. I split up my gang into six groups, group one is at the entrance, group two is on the left side, group three is inside the building, group four is on the right, group six is on top of the building and my group, aka group five, is behind the building outside of the office window. "Are we really ready to fight Pheonix?" Ubisity asked "yes we are, everything will be fine" I replied he looked over at me worriedly I raised a brow at him "are you nervous?" I asked he shook his head "no" he said face holding a frown I looked away 'he'll know soon" I thought to myself and looked into the room.

"where are they?" I asked myself sitting on a couch watching tv, my mother, father and younger brother left to go and get pizza from pizza hut for tonight's dinner since no one wanted to cook dinner. "Hey [y/n], where's mum and dad?" My brother, Hankia, asked "I have no clue" I replied "call them" he said I sighed and whipped to my phone going to contacts and calling mum. The phone ringed for 1 minute and was put on voicemail "HI this is melissa [l/n]-" I ended the call "mum's not picking up, call dad" I said he nodded and called dad for 1 minute he put his phone down and looked at it with furrowed eyebrows "what?" I asked flicking through channels since I was getting bored of a movie called Will Wonka "well dad didn't pick up either" he said "maybe their phones are on silent" I said trying to ease the uneasiness in my stomach "hopefully-" he was cut off by the news "there has been a crossfire between two gangs, resulting in nearby civilians to get injured." The reporter announced "holy shit" I commented looking at the picture of the scene Hankia stayed quiet we then heard a knock on our door I look at Hankia he looked at me "ignore it" he said I turned back a look at the TV then another knock came from the front door this time I ignored it 5 minutes later the knocking occurred but didn't stop it got louder and louder I looked over to Hankia and started to get scared he looked at me and put his finger on his mouth a sign to tell me to be quiet. a crash was then heard I froze and so did Hankia I got up from the couch "the fuck" I said he looked at the door of the living room "follow me" he said I nodded in reply a followed him out of the living room into the kitchen "we're gonna die aren't we" I commented "shut up" Hankia retorted I sighed the room was eerily silent "Hankia-" I started but got cut off by a hand clasping around my mouth.

"Shit [y/n]!" Hankia exclaimed reaching for me but was caught by another person dressed in a dark suit. adrenalin started to fill my veins as I struggled out of the person's grip the person grunted: "stop that you little shit" a raspy voice commented which sounded male. Hankia ripped out of the other person's grip and punched them in the face "fuck" the person cursed stumbling back I managed to get out of the male's grip as well and kick him in the balls "fuck you" I swore and ran towards Hankia gripping on his arm "we need to go" I said he nodded and we ran out of the house but got stopped by a short shabby man "hello kids" he said grinning I froze in fear Hankia stood in front of me like a shield "who the fuck are you?!" he yelled out angered "tata that bad language of use is gonna get you killed you know" the man said Hankia grit his teeth "but to answer your question, I am your new guardian" he said proudly Hankia then froze. "What?" I said but it sounded more like a question "that's right I'm taking care of you" he said "we have parents" I said frowning "no you don't actually" he said I was confused but the look on Hankia's face said that he knew what that meant "did you watch the news?" he asked I nodded "well you see [y/n]... your parents and younger brother were one of the other few people to die in the crossfire luckily your dying mother begged me to take care of them, so please call me papa".

fingers snapped in front of my face making me come back to reality. I looked at the owner of the fingers, Akire, "hey you good?" she asked I nodded and looked down at my right wrist which was covered by a watch '12:00' it read "lets go" I said they nodded then we crashed the window open.
