Hikari supported Kakashi as they walked back to her village since he was gravely injured. Although she had healed him, Kakashi didn't have the energy to travel even if he had wanted to. But he also just felt strangely comfortable with her as they talked the entire way there. Well, Hikari talked for the most part, he just couldn't help but smile under his mask as he admired her beauty and that lovely smile of hers. With every word she said, he felt himself pulled towards her more and more. "You do know that it is rude to stare, right?" She suddenly asked with a small laugh. He looked away in embarrassment at being caught staring and blushed madly. "Anyway..." she trails off "We're here" she adds. Kakashi looked upfront in confusion as he didn't see anything but trees. "There's nothing here" he states sweat dropping. "That's the way it's supposed to look, as if there's nothing there" she explained "Do you trust me?" she asks "Do I have a choice?" he replies. She shrugs her shoulders with a small smile on her rosy lips "Not really, no" she says with a small laugh.
She takes a deep breath and together they take a step forward right over the border. Kakashi stares in awe as the landscape just completely changes. He could see the village in the distance. She turns to him. "No village in less than two hours, huh?" she asks playfully hitting his arm. "Come on, let's go to my house so you can rest." she says, smiling with her eyes closed.
Villagers were whispering all the way, giving them looks of disdain. This was the way it happened every single time someone was brought in from the outside world. They were still distrusting of anyone new. Kakashi looked at Hikari in confusion. Hikari sighed "Don't mind them. They are wary of anyone new that comes in here. It's kind of ridiculous." she says shrugging her shoulders "Why?" Kakashi asked. Hikari debated if she should answer or not. Eventually she decided that she didn't have a reason to distrust him, but doesn't know him well enough to disclose much information about the clan. "It has something to do with the history of the clan and how this village came to be. It's a very sensitive subject." she answered shortly "That's all I'm going to say about that... For now" she adds. Hikari halts in front of a house, Kakashi standing next to her. She takes a deep breath and turn to look at Kakashi for a split second, before opening the door.
No one was home. She let her breath escape, she hadn't realized she was holding. 'My execution has been postponed' she thought dramatically. "Follow me, we probably don't have long before my parent or my siblings co..." she said, but was cut short when the door opened and the whole family walked inside. "Shit" she thought she thought, but she said it out loud and her parents definitely heard. "Language, Hikari" her father lectured her, Kosuke's eyes trailed over to the gray haired stranger. "And who is our guest?" he asked friendly enough, but Hikari knew she was screwed. Kakashi looked at Hikari and Hikari looked back at him, neither knowing what to do and the tension in the home was extremely uncomfortable. Hikari was once again internally debating if she had made the right decision by bringing Kakashi to her village, into her home.
"I guess it's only appropriate that I introduce myself first" Kosuke say "I'm Kosuke Chisaka and this is my wife Kyoko" He says. Hikari was surprised by the hospitality her father was showing. "Kakashi Hatake, it's a pleasure to meet you" Kakashi says "Likewise" Kosuke replies. Kosuke just looks him over and then looks to his daughter for an explanation. Hikari looks to the ground for a second, feeling a bit nervous under her father's stare. "It's my fault" Kakashi says, coming to Hikari's rescue. "No, it's not. Hikari replies , giving him a look"I went across the border and then I had a vision, I acted on instinct" she adds "She saved my life" Kakashi says "Yet, you still got injured. I was late." she argued "It was just a scratch and you healed me" he argued back and she lets out a humorless laugh "Just a scratch? Just a scratch?! You almost died!" She yelled "But I didn't" he replied "Because I saved your sorry ass. You're welcome by the way" she tells him.
Yuka walks in from the other room and stood next to Ryo who had been quietly watching whilst leaning against the wall. "I don't know what's going on" Yuka starts "But I kind of ship it" he adds. "Tskt, they only just met." Ryo replies "I bet you they will end up together" Yuka says "I bet you they won't. She clearly doesn't like him." Ryo argues "Boke, it's all in their body language" Yuka argues back. "Aho, they're doing nothing but arguing." Ryo replies. "You're so clueless, Aniki" Yaku says pinching Ryo's cheecks "It's soo adorable" he adds while laughing loudly. Suddenly everyone turned to them and Ryo pushed his younger brother off of him. "Bakayarou" he muttered under breath so only his brother could hear. "Tou-saaaaan!" Yuka childishly calls for their father and Ryo pushes Yuka. They start chasing each other as if they weren't in their twenty's. Kosuke just shakes his head and sighs at his eldest children. "Boys will be boys" he mutters looking at his sons with a look of amusement. "Are they always like this?" Kakashi asks Hikari "Hmm... Oh yes, all the time." she says trying her best not to laugh, unsuccesfully.
Kyoko went over to her daughter and Kakashi. "You'll get used to it. Come on, I'll show you the guest room" she says once again surprising Hikari with her hospitality towards Kakashi. 'What's going on' she thought to herself. Leading them up the stairs.
