A man with long black hair had been far enough not to be harmed by the wave of chakra, but close enough to witness what had endured before and after. Here in the middle of nowhere, only one place in the area. He had felt it before about seven months ago, only this time it had been with more force. Probably because he was now closer than he had been back then. He was thrown back because of the force, had the wind knocked out of him. He got up soon enough to see a small, white haired child exit the building that was now seemingly falling apart. Next thing he knew, lightning struck and building caught fire. Confusion crossed his face. It had been sunny, there hadn't even been cloud in the sky and yet.... lightning had just struck. He thought back to seven months ago, when he had heard rumors about the bloodbath which once was the land of Frost. Shiroi Akuma. That was the name he had heard back then. The name he had heard in whispers on the streets.
He saw the small child raise his arms, the building collapsed and soon it was as if it had never even existed. No hand signs. Nothing. This confused him even more. He saw the child fall to his knees, his figure shaking and loud sobs could be heard as the white haired boy broke down and cried.
He walked over to the young child. It might seem a little out of character, but somehow he felt like he needed to comfort the child. He wanted to make the boy's pain go away. Yuri, who normally was great at sensing people, was too overwhelmed by emotion to notice the stranger approaching him. The stranger crouched down next to him and put a hand on his shoulder. Yuri winced as the hand touched his shoulder. He looked up at the stranger, tears still clear in his eyes. "I'm not going to hurt you" the black haired man tells him. Yuri could tell that the man was telling the truth which made him relax a little.
"You're dying" Yuri states all of a sudden, only looking at the black haired man after he stated that. "You're eyes no longer see" he adds, looking in the man's eyes. He sighs deeply. "I can help you, heal you... I'm not as good as mama, but it's the only chance you've got" Yuri adds looking down at the ground where his white rabbit lay. "How is it that you know all this?" the black haired man asks the young boy. The boy shrugs his shoulders. "I know lots of things" he replies "Do you want me to heal you or not?" Yuri adds. The man lets out a small chuckle. "You think you can cure me?" the black haired man replied "Cure? No. Not really." Yuri answered, picking up the rabbit and playing with its ears. The black haired man looked at the boy in confusion. "You just told me you could heal me" the man states "Hai" Yuri replies. Yuri saw the confusion on the man's face. Yuri put his bloodied, no longer white, rabbit into his no long.er white cloak. He turned and grabbed the man's face with both his hands. A white light erupted from the boy's hands into the man's skin. Yuri's eyes started glowing, turning a sapphire blue.
Yuri let go of the man's face, trying to catch his beath. Healing always did use a lot of his chakra. But at least he had done something good for once. Saved a life instead of taking it. "How do you feel?" he asks the man. The man opens his eyes and for the first time in two years, he could see everything clearly again. He felt better, stronger. "A lot better." he replies "Good" Yuri says "What's your name, kid?" the man asks as he realized he doesn't know the kid's name "Yuri Hatake" the boy replies. 'Hatake?' Itachi thought. He looked the boy over and saw the similarities between the young boy and an old friend of his. The boy almost looked like an exact copy of a younger Kakashi. "Thank you for healing me, Yuri. My name is Itachi Uchiha" the man with the long black hair says "It's fine, no need to thank me. You'll still die, just not tonight" Yuri mutters.
