Yuri fluttered open his eyes, slightly panicking when he realized that he couldn't see a thing. He was hanging from the ceiling, both wrists in cuffs and so were his feet.  The blindfold over his eyes was the reason he couldn't see, he couldn't however figure out why they would blindfold him. It was ridiculous! He tried doing something, anything with his abilities. But something was blocking them. It was all useless, he was completely defenseless. He sighed. There was no way he could escape right now... At least not while his abilities are blocked. He still felt drained and it seemed like it was worse than before. Snow fell down upon his as fear began bubbling up. He heard a heartbeat and with the last of his chakra he made the heart stop. He heard a body fall to the ground and people running to get to their fallen comrade. "Baaaka" Yuri said weakly, before passing out once more.

He woke up again, this time without blindfold, when a bucket of ice cold water was dumped on him. Which, unbeknownst to them, gave him the little boost of strength he needed. Even with his hands in the cuffs and hung to the ceiling, he made the water on the ground freeze. He smirked at the man in front of him. "What are smirking at, you freak?!" he snarled "Baaaka" Yuri says with a malicious grin. The man in front him punched him in the face. Yuri's nose was bleeding and his lip was busted. "Baaaka" the young boy repeated with a chuckle and a glint in his eyes, his grin widening as the man rolled his eyes. "Is that all you can say or something?!" he growls and starts walking back to the door of the cell he was kept in. The man slips over the ice and fell to the ground, groaning in pain. Yuri starts laughing. "I got you good, didn't I?" he says with a laugh. He then made the ice creep up the man's body. The man starts panicking. The ice crept into his blood, into every cell and froze him to the bone. The man starts screaming out in fear as he completely freezes till eventually he explodes into tiny fractals of ice. Everyone stared at the small child that was now innocently looking at them with his big blue eyes, he burst out laughing once more as they kept staring at the spot where their comrade, that just froze to death right in front of their eyes, was just a moment ago.

He was tortured for days, weeks or months. He really couldn't tell how long he'd been there. Being cut across his entire body, getting stabbed repeatedly, being held under water till he almost stopped breathing but being pulled up before he would die, being burned repeatedly.... At first he had cried out, tears had been spilled....  Rage had pumped through his veins and there had been a few more deaths. But with every death they discovered something new about him. But now he didn't give them the satisfaction no more. He hung there, head held high. A smirk ever present, his eyes cold and dull.

A skinny tall man with dark waist length green hair came into his cell. Yuri looked him in the eyes, the man smiled at what he saw. "He's ready" he tells his bodyguards who just came out of the shadows. "Mark him" he added with a soft bell like voice and then turned around and left.  One of the bodyguards took a poker with a peculiar symbol on it and put it into the fire. "You will do well in the battles" the man says as he takes the poker out of the fire. "At least my money is on you, so you better win" he growls out. Yuri stays silent, not knowing what the hell they were talking about and being too tired to even try to understand. The hot poker was pressed against the bare skin on his abdomen. He held his tears and bit his tongue not to scream out in pain. "There, you now officially belong to us." the man says with a chuckle, the mark burning brightly against the young child's abdomen.
