Yuri got shoved forward, hands and feet sill in chains. They stopped in front of two big doors. "Do not disappoint us, boy!" one of the men said. It was to dark to make out any features other than that the guy who had just spoken was rather chubby, as could be made out by his short sausage fingers. The man was also in desperate need of a breath mint or something and maybe a shower. Or at least that's what Yuri had been thinking the entire way from his cell to these doors. The doors opened. His shackles were removed and he shoved inside. Yuri looked up, big blue eyes scanning the large arena he was now standing in. "Here in the right corner, your very favorite kokushibyo" The man with long green hair said, the crowd cheered "And in the left corner a newcomer, the one who slaughtered an entire village in less then an hour..... Shiroi Akuma!" The green haired man announces, the crowd went wild. Yuri looked around the arena in both wonder and horror. "The rules are simple..." the man with green hair goes on "There are no rules other than... Only one may come out alive. Ganbatte ne! And may the odds be forever in your favor." the green haired man finished. It was already clear to him that they only wanted one thing... blood. Didn't matter who died as long as blood would flow.
Yuri parried his front foot in the dirt and came into a fighting stance. His chakra and energy levels were still very low, so he'd have to take it easy. He observed his opponent. "Kokushibyo, black death...." he mutters 'Why is he called that?' he asks himself. But then again, why was he called 'Shiroi Akuma'? His opponent had long black hair, black eyes with dark circles underneath them and skin so pale you could nearly see his veins. He looked to be around fourteen or fifteen. Yuri could tell that his opponent was studying him as well as either of them had yet to make a move. The boy opposite of him started making some weird hand gestures, almost the same as Yato had done... only different. It started snowing as he looked at the boy in confusion for just a second. He bent through his knees and touched the ground. Before the darkness could even come near the white haired child, spikes shot up from the ground and impaled the raven haired boy. He spun around a couple of times, making a small tornado appear and making the darkness evaporate. The crowed cheered and shouted the name he was now known by. "Shiroi! Akuma! Shiroi! Akuma!" the audience chanted. "We have a winner, ladies and gentleman" the green haired man said "I've never seen anyone take their opponent out that fast, maybe a little too fast. Next time there will be more entertainment. I promise you that, but for now let's celebrate the very first victory of new contestant. Shiroi Akuma!" he ended his speech.
Yuri was taken out of the arena and back to his cell, where he was beaten to a pulp. "Stop beating the poor boy. He did well for his first time." a voice tells the men and they immediately stop as the green haired man cam into view. The man goes towards the young boy and offers him a hand. Yuri took it and stood back up. The man went down to Yuri's height. "Next time, drag it out a bit okay. Just put on a show. We're here to entertain after all." he tells him with a wink and ruffles the young boy's hair. "You did good, kid" he says and Yuri gives him a small smile. "Now rest, you'll have to be fit for your next match tomorrow." The green haired man says while standing up. "What's your name, mister?" Yuri asks with a small voice, curiosity shining clear in his eyes. "Matsumura Hoshi" Hoshi says looking back at the white haired child "What's yours?" he asks "Hatake Yuri, Hoshi-san" Yuri says proudly. Hoshi looks at the child one last time, before turning his head and walking away. 'Hmm. Hatake. Where did I hear that before?' Hoshi thinks, shakes his head and proceeds to walk towards his office.
