Vincent's POV
Dad, Ciel, and I were all in a bit of a hurry to pack the rest of our belongings. Nearly a few days ago dad had taken Veronica to court after filing a divorce. I was truly happy that she wouldn't be living under the same roof as us. Ciel looked 100% happier as well. The only downside to this situation is that we're moving countries. Dad got a great job offer in Japan and said that Ciel and I were accepted into a high end prestigious learning academy.
"Vincent, hurry with the packing. Dad needs to send the limo to the airport before us, so they're able to load up the bags!" Ciel shouted in my direction from downstairs. It's interesting to have the opportunity to move countries and see how their civilisation interacts among one another.
"Just give me a few minutes, Ciel!" I shouted back. I was truly going to miss living in this area of England because I've grown up here and so had Ciel. It felt like we're leaving a part of our childhood behind.
"Vincent this is the last time we-" dad was beginning to yell in my direction until I was walking down the stairs and into the living room. "Well now that we've got everything packed, let's head the airport." dad told Ciel and myself. I could tell by the way Ciel was excited to be leaving. I wouldn't blame him, but I could also tell that he was going to miss his friends.
"Hey cheer up, Ciel. I bet at Ouran all the girls in your year will be head over heels for you." I tell him as we entered the car.
"You really think so?" he asked out of curiosity.
"Yeah, I'm positive." I reassure him. He seemed happier after I told him this. I was just hoping he wasn't starting to feel self-conscious about himself because it wasn't good for him to be thinking great way at his age. I really don't want my little brother thinking that way of himself in that sense. If anyone would dare make him believe that he's not worth anything, then I wouldn't hesitate to beat them. Sure I was shy, anti-social, self-conscious, and very inclosed from the outside world but that wouldn't stop me from defending my brother.
"Vincent, do you think that the kids at Ouran will be the same as Victorian Academy?" Ciel asked me, which brought me out of my train of thought.
"I don't know little brother. In my opinion I hope not."
"Same here. I just hope people won't torment you like the last students at Victorian Academy."
"Thanks for worrying about me, Ciel. I really appreciate it."
"You're my big brother. It's the least I can do after all you're always protecting me." This conversation went one for another few minutes, until dad pulled up to the airstrip. Ciel and I looked out of the window of the car and saw our family's private jet. I'm astonished that our family has kept that jet for nearly 50 years.
"Boys let's head to the jet and get ready until Jake is ready to lift off." dad tells us as we get out of the car.
"Sure thing dad." Ciel and I say in unison. Once we were out of the car, I noticed that Jake was waiting for us. It's always interesting to see that Jake will always be tending to our family. His family line used to be nobles, but I guess he'd rather be a butler to a noble family instead of being a noble himself. Jake Harrison has been the butler for the Michaelis family since I was in grade school. Before he was the butler it was his father. I knew that Jake had lost his mother after she gave birth to him and his sister Irene, who's the family's maid. Those two are always caring and compassionate toward the people they tend to.
"Hello, Master Michaelis." Jake says as he takes a bow. Dad greets him and Jake takes his things and loads them onto the jet. Once Ciel and I were close enough I noticed that Helena was joining us as well. I was glad she was coming along. I could tell that she cared about us like we were her own kids. She and dad had been really good friends since I was in grade school. She always came around the manor, mother was very fond of her.
Every-time mom had to go to work she called Helena to care for me. I had many happy memories with mom and dad, but when they both were at work Helena cared for me. She was like a second mom to me. I was always happy even when my parents were around much. It hurt me so much when my mom passed away. I was barely 3 at the time. Nearly a year later dad had met Veronica and fell in love with her. After they got to know each other better dad proposed to Veronica and I had found out that she had a son only a year old.
I actually believed when I was younger that Veronica would be a good stepmother, but I was completely wrong. Well that's enough of how my dad met Veronica and Helena. Once we were all on the jet, I sat down and soon Ciel followed and sat by me. I could tell that he was sleepy for waking up real early.
"It's best if you get some rest." I tell him.
"*yawns* But what about you?" Ciel asked me while rubbing his eyes.
"I'll be fine, just get some rest okay. I'll wake you when we arrive."
"Okay." With that being the final thing Ciel said, he curled up like a kitten and snuggled close to me. He constantly looks so adorable without even realising it. The only good thing I'm truly happy of when dad married Veronica was having Ciel as a brother. Some people say that I'm to caring toward my brother, but it's just that he was barely an infant when his actual father left Veronica. I guess dad wanted to be a great dad and not make Ciel feel sad.
"Vincent you should get some rest as well. The flight to Japan is at least 20 hours." dad tells me as he and Helena take their seats.
"I'll manage dad. After all I've gone 22 hours without any sleep." I tell him. I knew he was worrying about me, but I was capable of caring for myself. There was a down side to me being that way. At times whenever I worry and care for Ciel, I don't take time to care for my well-being. At times I wish I could just fall asleep forever and never wake up, but if that happened then Ciel would be heartbroken.
"Please Vincent. You'll need the rest when we get there." dad asked me.
"Alright dad." That was the final thing I told dad before drifting off into the dream-realm.

*Time skip to the flight landing*

"Vincent, Ciel wake up. We've arrived at the airport." I heard some say. I stirred to my side and woke up. Then I realised that it was dad who was waking us up. I looked to my right and saw that Ciel had latched onto me while we were sleeping. This made me smile because he looked so peaceful. Though I knew that he had to be woken up. So I decided to poke him in his side and he started to giggle.
"Vinc, stop it. Please stop it tickles." Ciel said as he woke up. I continued the tickle him, until he was fully awake. He was giggling so much that he tried to catch his breath. I stopped tickling him and stood up. I look down at him and saw him pouting.
"Why did you wake me?" he asked me with his adorable pouting puppy face.
"Well dad woke me and said we've landed." The moment I said that Ciel jumped up and hugged me. It's a good thing he doesn't stay mad at me.
