Chapter Fourteen

Kyoya's POV
    "Why?" The twins ask in unison.
    "Perhaps he wanted to ensure that he knew some people on this lovely evening. Although it seems that nearly every single young lady is excited to meet him." I tell them. I could tell that they were all getting confused on why Vincent have personally invited, but they'll find out soon enough. I had to tell them that I didn't know the true reason on why Mr. Michaelis had hosted this gathering, but the true reason what that he wanted to get to know his fellow coroners, announced that Helena and himself are getting married along with expecting a child, and finally having myself and Vincent announce that we're engaged.
    "Kyoya-Senpai you seem really spaced out all of a sudden. Is there a reasons for that?" Haruhi asked me which dragged me out of my thoughts.
    "Oh I was just thinking of possibilities on why Mr. Michaelis is hosting this extraordinary gathering." I tell her in a nonchalant lie.
    "Try not to overthink it. Just go along with what's happening right now." Haruhi tells me before being dragged off by Tamaki. It's interesting to see that at first she had no interest in him and now the moment she finds out that he's dated someone makes her fall head over heels for him.
    "Welcome all to this exquisite gathering that my fiancé and I have decided to host. This gathering isn't just for my family to get the opportunity to befriend and also become acquainted with others. I, Sebastian Michaelis have taken the opportunity to introduce my sons Ciel Phantomhive and Vincent Michaelis." I heard Mr. Michaelis announce. Once the boys names were said they came out from two separate staircases. Although they both seemed to be wearing the same exact tailored suit, but each was different.
    Vincent looks a bit uncomfortable being in-front everyone here, while Ciel looked excited. Seeing the two in-front everyone like this you're able to see the difference between them. As Mr. Michaelis continued to inform everyone the reason for coming here, he then got to the part where Vincent would announce who his fiancé is.
    "It's a pleasure to see all of this evening. As my father has said, I'll be announcing who my fiancé is. Some of you may be shocked and other will be disappointed. And when I say disappointed it's to all the young ladies that have made themselves present this evening. Now, umm it would be best if they would stand by me for this." Vincent informs them. I could tell that he wasn't used to be put on the spot. As the last sentence had left his lips, I nearly saw all the young ladies stand, but they were told to stay seated because they weren't the ones betrothed to Vincent. As I made my way toward him, all of the guest were shocked to see me and the young ladies were having mixed emotions about this.
    "N-now that umm everything has umm been announced. Umm why don't we umm-" before he could continue anymore, I pulled him into a kiss. I couldn't stand beside him and watch him shift uncomfortably in-front of everyone like that. As I pulled away from the kiss, I saw that fuming looks on all the young ladies. All I could think of was to smirk at them and wrap my right arm around Vincent's waist.
    "Well that was certainly unexpected, but it seems that all the young ladies present have no need to ask their fathers if they can be the ones betrothed to my son. Also on another note, my youngest son is also betrothed and before any of you ladies have any thoughts of coming up here and saying that your one he's going to marry then that's not acceptable. The one that's betrothed to Ciel is-" I noticed that before Mr. Michaelis could finish his sentence there was a loud boom that came for outside. All of the guests weren't worried about that noise except the entire host club along with Mr. Michaelis and Helena.
    I looked over at Vincent and noticed that he seemed a bit terrified when he heard the loud boom. The only logical thing I was able to do in this situation was hold and comfort him. I looked around the foyer and noticed that Tamaki was sitting in his 'Emo' corner while Haruhi was chatting away with the many young gentlemen present this evening. That was strange for me to see because Tamaki and Haruhi were dating. I had seen a bit earlier before the boom was heard that Tamaki and Haruhi were having a conversation, but now that I think back to it seemed like an argument between the two. That's when I came to the conclusion that Haruhi had broken Tamaki's heart.
    "Kyoya, what happened between Tamaki and Haruhi? Just a few moments ago they were happy to be around each other and now Tamaki looks like he hates Haruhi's guts." Vincent's voice pulls me out of my thoughts.
    "Well my guess is that Haruhi had broken Tamaki's heart. It seems that she didn't care about making a scene or anything." I responded. I knew exactly what I was say and so did Vincent. Even if I tried to lie it wouldn't work with Vincent. As we made our way toward Tamaki, I had seen Ciel sit beside him. It's good to see that others had noticed what Haruhi did.
    "Kyoya, why did you think of a servant theme for the club?" Vincent asked.
    "I just thought it would be an interesting idea. Also no need to worry about Ciel, he's going to wear a butler uniform." I inform him.
    "Good. I was slightly worry that my brother was going to the maid's uniform."
    "I put that into consideration."
    "Thank you, Kyoya. You're the best." Vincent tells me after placing a peck on my cheek.
    "You're such an adorable dork, Vincent." Was the final thing I told him, before dragging him outside to investigate what the strange boom from earlier was.
    Once we were outside, I started to notice how extravagant the night sky looked. It's interesting to see that even the night could look amazing. As Vincent and I looked around for what may have caused the noise, Vincent managed to get tangled up in vines.
    "Kyoya, could you help me. I've managed to get myself tangled up?" Vincent asked me with a pout. Wow, he looked really adorable all tangled up and with the pout to add on.
    "Sure I'll help you, Vincent." I say as I untangle him.
