Vincent's POV
When Kyoya told me that I had fallen to the floor without a force pushing me seemed unlikely. Why would I unexpectedly fall to the ground? It didn't add up, but it's best if I didn't put too much thought into it.
"So how long are you gonna lay in the floor all day or are you gonna get up." someone spoke up.
"Hikaru, you need to be polite. After all, today is Vincent's first day here. Our job is to make sure that he is welcomed." I heard Tamaki speak up. The moment I was about to stand up, I felt someone grab ahold of my arm and hoisted me up. I looked behind me and saw take Kyoya was the one that helped me up.
"It's alright with me if he's rude. I've dealt with others who've acted worse. I guess you can say that I'm used to being shot down. If that's all, I'll be heading back to the front of the campus and wait for my family's limo." I told them which left them astonished. I wasn't shocked to see this because every-time I told others about letting them talk me down they always seem shocked.
"Vincent, you can't just let others do that to you. If you do then others will take your kindness for granted." Tamaki said.
"So what. I'm used to it. My former step-mother Veronica was happy that I became so self-conscious about myself. Haven't you recently seen that I don't care who chooses to walkover me. It doesn't matter to me anymore." I continued. Once these words had left my lips I was bombarded with hugs. It got uncomfortable because I was only used to dad and Ciel hugging me.
"Vincent, do you always keep this sort of thing to yourself?" Tamaki asked.
"I only keep it to myself for a safety precaution. I'm just used to being distanced from others. That's how I've always been." I say.
"Well now that has been cleared up, why don't we officially introduce Vincent to the Host Club." Kyoya told them all after he was the final one hugging me.
"You have a point there, Kyoya. We were so busy worrying about Vincent's well being, but now that has been dealt with why don't we all properly introduce the rest of you to Vincent." Tamaki chimed in. It was a relief that they were all done worrying about me.
"I'm Mitsukuni Haninozuka, but only Takashi gets to call me Mitsukuni. Everyone else calls me Honey-Senpai. I'm a 3rd year student and in the host club I'm known as the 'Boy-Lolita'." the small blonde with a childlike voice introduced himself. I was dumbfounded to know that he was the oldest student here. "Takashi is the one who picked you up after you fell the first time. His full name is Takashi Morinozuka. He's known as the 'Strong Silent' type of the host club, but along with me he's a 3rd year." Honey-Senpai continued. That explained a bit on who picked me up the first time.
"We're the Hitachiin Twins. People get us mistake a lot, do to our similarities. Are you able to tell the difference between us." the two auburn haired twins say. I could sort of tell the difference between them, but since they were talking in unison it made it a bit hard for me.
"I'm Hikaru Hitachiin and my brother's name is Kaoru Hitachiin. We're known as the 'Mischievous' type in the club." the twin with his hair parted to the right informs me.
"Why don't we play 'Guess who's Hikaru Game' if you get it right then we won't pull any pranks on you, but if you get it wrong then we get to prank you all year long. Got that." they say in unison while placing hats on their heads to hide which way they part their hair. That's an interesting way to confuse others.
"Sure why not. It won't be really simple to fool me." I tell them.
"You sure you're up to the challenge, Vincent. It's rare that people tell those two apart." Tamaki chimes.
"I think I'll find a way to tell them apart."
"Alright then, if you're so confident then try and tell us apart." the twins say. I was thinking back to when they both spoke individually and then remembered that Hikaru had a deeper voice than his brother Kaoru.
"You can take your time. Not everyone gets it right away." I believe Kaoru tells me. I look at them a bit better and saw that Kaoru was the twin that was nervous about something.
"I believe I've figured out who's who. The one on the right is Kaoru, while the one on the left is Hikaru. I know this because you both kept switching places, but your actions stayed the same. Am I correct?" I state then asked.
"Wow that's impressive. The only other person in the host club that could do that is Haruhi." Hikaru tells me. I looked a bit confused until I saw another being enter the music room. They seemed to have a feminine structure to them. I wasn't 100% sure that they were a girl or a boy, but I'll just wait and see.
"Hello. Sorry for being late. I'm Haruhi Fujioka. I'm known as the 'Natural' type in all of this madness." they introduced themselves.
"Hello, I'm Vincent Michaelis. I'm the recent transfer student." I respond.
"Well now that Vincent has met the rest of the club members there only leaves the President and Vice President of the club." Kyoya spoke up after a bit of silence.
"Vincent, you have met me, but to make more official than before. I'm Tamaki Suoh, the club's President. I call myself the King of the club and or sometimes call myself the 'Daddy'. I'm the 'Princely' type." Tamaki informs me.
"I'm Kyoya Ootori. The club Vice President or also referred as the 'Shadow King' or even called 'Mommy' by Tamaki. I maintain the club's financial issues." Kyoya tells me. So now I've officially met everyone in the Host Club. "Now that you've been introduced with everyone, there's a piece of information that you all be receiving right now. As you all now know that Vincent will be a new host joining us, Tamaki and I have decided to make Vincent the 'Gamer' type." Kyoya continued. I wasn't shocked to hear this. All I did in my spare time was either help Ciel with his homework or play video games. I mostly played Final Fantasy 7.
"You sure about this, Kyoya. 'Cause he doesn't seem like the type of person who would spend time entertaining others." Hikaru spoke up. I was starting to feel a tad disappointed after he said that. It slightly hurt to know that he doubted me, but I knew that I had to deal with it.
"Hikaru, you really need to stop being so rude. It's just Vincent's first day and I think you've made him feel bad. So please stop being rude." Kaoru chimed.
"Oh come on Kaoru. Do you actually believe that he is able to entertain others without having a breakdown. In my opinion I believe that he should be a part of the club." Hikaru snapped at Kaoru. It was hurting to see that Kaoru was sticking up for me, but Hikaru just shot him down.
"That's enough you two. I understand that I don't belong here and that's perfectly fine with me. If none of you want me here then I'll be leaving and not returning. You may see me in the hall, but don't expect me to say hello or anything. I'll just be in my own isolated world." I spoke up while trying to hide the fact that my voice was cracking. This caught everyone off guard. I could have cared less of how this affected them, but by the tone of voice Hikaru had I knew right then and there that I didn't belong. I was willing to accept that as well.
