Kyoya's POV
"Why do you two always assume that I only agreed to the idea because of Haruhi?" Tamaki questioned looking flustered.
"You always want to see her in a proper dress." Hikaru says.
"Yeah boss. Every-time you want to be around her, you're always beg her to wear a dress." Kaoru added.
"Why do you two always have to be mean to me?" Tamaki pouted as he was in his 'Emo' Corner. I always found it amusing when the twins managed to make Tamaki so upset that he goes to his corner. I looked over to where Vincent and Haruhi were when all of this was happening and I noticed that Vincent started to develope some tears in his eyes. I walked over to him and I had taken notice that he was joking something close.
"Vincent is everything alright?" I asked in a concerned tone.
"Huh, oh it's nothing. I'm alright. I just recently remembered today was the day my mom passed away." he responded.
"Oh, okay. If there's anything the matter please tell me." I tell him.
"Thank you for being worried, Kyoya."
"It's not a problem, Vincent. My condolences go out to you and your family." I say in a sorrow voice. It's been awhile since I saw someone get upset from the loss of a loved one. All I'm hoping is that this won't affect him.
"Hey, Kyoya why don't you and the boss figure out what the costumes will look like." Hikaru and Kaoru say in unison.
"You both only said that because one of you will be in a dress." Tamaki tells them.
"You have a point there boss. Also just the fact that you get to see Haruhi in a dress." Hikaru stated. This causes Tamaki to have a deep dark red blush all over his face.
"Hahaha. Wow boss your face is like a tomato!" the twins bursted out laughing.
"KYOYA! Make them stop laughing at me!" Tamaki called out to me. It's amusing to see that only the twins are capable to make Tamaki this embarrassed.
"Alright that's enough you two. Also I've thought of all the costume colours. Kaoru, Haruhi, Honey-Senpai, and Vincent are going to have their costumes the colour of their roses. While the rest of us will have costumes the colour black, like a typical butler uniform." I informed them.
"That's an amazing idea, Kyo-chan. Although we have to figure out what's the colour of Vincent's rose." Honey-Senpai spoke up.
"That's right. Sense Vincent recently joined the host club, he needs a rose colour." Tamaki spoke after he finished his little tantrum.
"W-well um I w-was th-thinking t-that my r-rose c-colour s-should be b-black w-with a w-white in-interior." Vincent stammered out. I was confused on why he was stammering.
"That's a perfect rose colour for you, Vincent. Also we can get the twins to ask their mother to design the costumes." Tamaki spoke.
"Now that we know Vincent's rose colour. It's best if we all head our separate ways and head home." I spoke up. Once I have spoke those words nearly all of the hosts left, all except for Vincent. Why had he decided to stay after the others left? Many thoughts crossed my mind, until I heard a faint inaudible whimper. I looked up from the papers that I was putting away and saw that Vincent was trying to silently cry. I walked over to him and he just collapse into my arms.
"W-why are y-you so k-kind to m-me, K-Kyoya? I d-don't d-deserve it." he stammered out. I was shocked to hear him speak in such a helpless tone of voice. As I kept holding him, he started to cry even more. I felt my heart slightly break by seeing him in this state.
"Vincent, you deserve kindness in your life. If you didn't have that then your soul would become a cold stone of hatred toward others for no absolute reason." I tell him as I try to comfort him.
"Th-thank y-you, K-Kyoya. I g-guess t-that I've b-been so w-worried a-about n-nothing." he tells me as his crying comes close to an end. I was glad that I was able to calm him down.
"Vincent, please look me in my eyes. You're a unique individual who shouldn't worry about what you deserve and what you don't, okay?" He looked into my eyes and I was shocked to see that he looked so innocent after crying. I was astonished by how he's midnight blue eyes just glistened after having tears in them.
"Um Kyoya, you're staring. Is there something wrong." Vincent's voice called me back from my thoughts.
"O-oh sorry. I haven't realise that I had been blanked out that long. There isn't anything wrong." I told him.
"That's good to hear. So um sorry for breaking down earlier, but was just that today marked the 14th anniversary of my mother's death. Every-time this day comes I just breakdown." he informs me.
"It's completely fine that you broke-down. I know how it feels like to lose a mother. Well not that has been dealt with, why don't we head our separate ways to get home." I finally say.
"Okay. See you tomorrow." he says as he leaves my hold. I can hardly believe not to long ago he was crying, but that's all in the past now.
"Oh and Kyoya thank you for being there for me. Also I may like you more than a friend." I hear Vincent say then mumble at the end. Although I was only capable of understand some of what he said.
Once I gathered every piece of my belongings, I decided to look around if any of the hosts had left something. I had noticed that not only that Vincent forgot his bag, be he also left one of his notebooks wide open. Being the kind of person who doesn't look through others belongings, I gathered all his belongings and placed them in my desk. I'll have to give him his bag tomorrow.
While I was making my way toward my family's limo, I realised that when Vincent said that to me I started to feel butterflies in the pit of my stomach. It had to be a coincidence that I felt that way, although when I had first met him, Chairman Suoh did say that it was slightly obvious that I had minorly developed a liking toward Vincent. Even Tamaki agreed that I was show obvious signs of showing a liking toward Vincent, but I chose to brush it off, until a few minutes ago when seeing Vincent breakdown in my arms.
