Chapter Nineteen: Trick or Treat, Freak pt. 2

Third Person POV

"Dustin!" Natalie shouted as she walked down his hallway in the costume that they created a few hours ago. "Move you butt, it's time to go," Natalie added, keeping her tone clean in order to not piss off Claudia by using harsh language towards her child.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Dustin shouted back. Natalie pounded her fist on his door, trying to move him along. "Don't come in!"

"Why?" Natalie smirked, knowing he was probably still changing but wanted to tease the boy some. Natalie acted as she gonna open the door by twisting the doorknob and rattling it some.

"AHH!" Dustin shrieked, "I'm naked!"

"Hurry up! You're gonna be late meeting up with the others."

"I'm trying!" Dustin shouted back through the door as he finished getting ready. Dustin whipped open the door and sent Natalie his middle finger.

"Dustin!" Claudia gasped out as she came up from behind Natalie and saw his middle finger being gestured towards Natalie.

"Sorry."

"Let's just get moving," Natalie smirked at Dustin in victory.

Dustin and Natalie met up with Lucas and Mike. The group was waiting for Jonathan to bring Will, who was running behind schedule. "Love the costume," Lucas smiled at Natalie, noticing her shirt that Dustin and her made.

"Thanks."

"It's too simple," Mike complained as he noticed the shirt as well.

"Which is why it's perfect for her," Lucas corrected Mike with an eye roll. Natalie had on the simplest outfit that Dustin could think of that still checked off the box as dressing up. With her white sneakers and black jeans, Natalie wore an orange shirt that had white eyeballs with black iris to resemble the orange ghost from the iconic hit game, Pac-Man. The bottom of the shirt was cut to mimic the bottom half of the ghost's body and give the shirt a more Pac-Man like feature.

Dustin knew how much the girl enjoyed playing it at the arcade while on break, playing the game with her multiple times and even setting the high score as a tag-team duo with their iconic username of NuttyBun; Nutella and Dustybun. "Exactly, I came up with this idea during class today," Dustin informed the group with a smile on his face; proud of his idea.

"Will!" Lucas cheered as Natalie turned around to see the boy. Natalie glanced away from Will and smiled at Jonathan, who gave her a smile back while making sure his brother got to his friends' safely.

"Egon!"

"Yeah! You ready for tonight, man?"

"Ask Jonathan to take you to the party," Dustin whispered to Natalie, making her glanced back at the group of kids.

"Go have fun and stop worrying about me," Natalie shoved Dustin's shoulder before making her way over to Jonathan's car. Natalie knocked on the window as Jonathan was busy glancing down at the orange flyer that Tina gave him. Jonathan unlocked the door and gestured for Natalie to get in.

"You thinking about going?" Natalie questioned as she slid into the the passenger, eyeing the flyer in his hands.

"Uh, um, no..."

"You should go," Natalie nodded her head, listening to Dustin's words of advice.

"You going?"

"Yeah," Natalie informed, smiling a bit. "I think I am."
