"Daddy!"
The little girl ran over to her father, jumping into his arms. He laughed and tickled her, making her giggle. The mother of the daughter walked up to them, giving them both a kiss on the cheek. The little girl reached for her mother to take her into her arms.
"Mommy!"
She took her into her arms.
"What is it, darling?"
"Hungry!"
Both of the parents laughed at their daughter.
"Why don't we head over to the cooking pot and cook together?"
"Yay!"
"Go get ready. Daddy and I will be right here when you finish."
"Okay!"
The little one ran up the steps, leaving behind her parents. They sighed, finally getting a small moment of peace.
"She's such a handful." Her father groaned, plopping down on the couch.
"Shush. You're the one that wanted a child. And she's precious."
"You have that right. Come sit for a little bit."
He patted the spot next to him. She sat down next to him and he wrapped his arm around her waist, bringing her closer.
"How's work going?"
"Wonderful!"
The mother began.
"We discovered some more of those robots I was telling you about, and we're trying to activate them. I think I heard Impa and Purah's parents want to call them Guardians."
"It sounds like they are going to be guarding things."
"That's what we want them to do. We're hoping to get them to guard the castle and the cities around it. I just worry about the Calamity-"
"I'm ready, mommy!"
Their daughter came running down the stairs of their house with a new pair of clothes on.
"Good! We'll finish our conversation tonight when she goes to bed."
"Alright, darling."
The father got up and picked his daughter up, setting her on his shoulders.
"Let's go, princess."
"Yay! Food time!"
They walked out of their house to go make their meal.
Time skip~~
They walked back into their home the father carrying their sleeping daughter in his arms.
"I'll take her to her room. You stay here."
As the father went upstairs, he didn't know that would be the last time he'd see his wife.
