"Eva? It's Link! The King needs us for something!"
Eva darted up, hair a mess and drool running out of her mouth. She yawned, groaning after.
"Give me five."
She stretched and quickly got dressed. She strapped her swords and bow to her back and waist, quickly brushing her hair.
She stepped outside where Link held out a baked apple for her. She took it, taking a bite while Link started talking.
"I'm surprised that you can even take care of yourself when you can't cook."
"Never learned, never will. What does the king need?"
"Something about a way to stop the Calamity. You know those big machines in the different regions?"
"The Divine Beasts? Yeah, I know them."
"Well, supposedly the king wants to find people from that region to pilot them. We'll learn more when we get to the meeting. Impa is already there."
"Of course she is. She's the princess's royal advisor. She never leaves her side."
"What was that thing you had to do after dropping off the princess yesterday? I didn't see you leave your house."
"Nothing of importance. Just business." With that, they arrived at the castle and walked in, being directed to the king's meeting room. His advisors and leaders of his army were there, along with Zelda and Impa.
"Ah, there you two are. We can now begin our meeting."
Link and Eva stood next to Impa and Zelda.
"Since the revival of Calamity Ganon has been predicted, we have been working to keep the Calamity at bay. Now, due to the predictions and discoveries of the Ancient Tech Lab, everything we have done up until now will not be enough. Since the Ancient Divine Beasts are unearthed, I believe they will be an essential key in defeating the Calamity.
"We will need to seek out one from each of the following; a Gerudo, a Zora, a Goron, and a Rito. We have a specific connection with the Gerudo and the Zora. We will start with them and then continue to the Goron and Rito. Zelda."
She pricked up, standing up straighter from hearing her name.
"You and your guards will be meeting with the Gerudo chief tomorrow. When that is achieved, we will discuss the Zora princess."
"Yes, father. I shall have them prepared for then."
"And you must not forget about your studies. You are our only hope in sealing the Calamity away and you can not forget that."
"Yes, father."
"Good. This meeting is adjourned. Let the Goddess Hylia herself bless us with victory in sealing the Calamity."
Everyone got up, talking amongst themselves.
"What time will we be departing, Princess?" Eva asked, looking at Zelda.
"We will be departing at dawn. Please be prepared for the hot weather. I would like to ask you all to join me for studies on the Gerudo."
"Of course, Princess. We would be delighted to join you." Link said bowing at Zelda.
"Wonderful! I shall have snacks made along with some drinks for us to dine! Follow me please!"
Link, Impa, and Eva followed after Zelda, passing royal servants attending to everyone's needs.
"Just down here, please." They entered the Royal Study. The walls were surrounded by bookshelves, thousands of books being held there full of history and knowledge.
