Arely's POV

2 weeks later...

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I have not been feeling good at all the past week and a half. I've been tired as fuck and feeling sick to my stomach on and off. Some days I was barely able to make it through school but today, I more than likely won't.

It felt like it took me forever to get ready for school, every second I was either dizzy or feeling sick. The drive to school was terrible, I thought I wouldn't make it to school without throwing up... God, I feel like shit.

"You don't look too good" Landon looked concerned as I sat next to him.

I laid my head on his shoulder.

"You okay?" He kind of chuckled.

"I feel sick" I told him.

"Damn, for real?" He rubbed my back.

"I don't know what's wrong with me"

I was almost in tears from pain and school hadn't even started yet.

"You probably should go home Relly" he told me.

"We got a test today"

"So? You look like you're on the verge of passing out or something"

Landon's POV

I waited for Arely to say something but she didn't. She got up and made her way out of the library quickly as Faith and Santos were walking in.

"What's wrong with her?" Faith asked pointing back as Arely.

"She's not feeling good" I told her.

"Awww, poor girl."

"Say cuhs, your fight is Friday night" Santos was excited for me.

"I know. I'm excited"

I really was excited too. This is my first official fight going on my record and if all goes good on this fight and the next 4 I got coming up, hopefully that will put my in a position to start making some big money.

"If you win by knockout I'll pay for your first tattoo. That's my present to you cuhs." Santos smiled.

I'm holding you to that" I pointed at him.

"I got you."

We chopped it up until the bell rang for us to get to class. I figured Arely would be back by now but I decided to text her and head to class to avoid getting in trouble. By the time I got to my class she had texted me back, she had gotten sick so she went home.

The rest of the day seemed to go really slow. Of course it always does when the person you spend most of your time with at school isn't there, so I just passed most of my free time thinking about winning this fight. With my coach promoting the fuck out of me and Santos' fights, our previous records and whatnot all we have to do is do what we do best...

Fight.

Arely's POV

"Arely" my mom called as she closed the front door behind her.

I only had enough strength to lift my head off the couch so she knew where I was.

"You okay?" She sat down next to me close enough for me to put my head on her thigh.

"No. I feel like shit" I wrapped my arms around my stomach.

"Okay. Do you want to go to the doctor?"

I nodded my head.
