Arely's POV

I've been trying to figure out how I'm going to tell Landon I'm pregnant for 3 weeks almost and I still haven't come up with anything. I mean I don't know for sure, but I feel almost the same way I felt when I figured out I was pregnant with Jr.

I've tried hinting baby stuff around him but he hasn't been catching on. He's been a little bit wrapped up on trying to get us out of this house and into a different one since what happened with Santos.

Ever since we haven't heard from them too much. Yes, that's a little bit concerning to us but I can't blame them after someone literally followed them and tried to shoot Santos point blank range. Honestly, I'd disappear for a while too.

Today, Landon has a neurologist appointment. He wanted to get answers on how soon he can return to fighting since it had been almost a year since his last fight.

"Do you think he's going to clear me?" He asked me.

"I mean, you're scar is still pretty fresh. I feel like if not this visit then maybe after a couple more for sure." I told him.

"I'm excited. I just wanna start doing what I love again"

"I know baby, but you have to make sure you're okay too we have kids now" I reminded him as I glanced in the back seat to check on Jr.

"Yeah I know bu— wait... did you just say kids, as in more than one?" He looked at me then at my stomach.

"... Yeah" I took a moment to realize what I just said.

"You're pregnant?!" He said excitedly.

"... I think so" I nodded my head.

He smiled from ear to ear and hugged me.

"I love you" he gave me a big kiss.

I knew he would be happy about the news but it sure did take him a long ass time to catch on to what I was trying to tell him. I will admit that I didn't really expect to tell him like that, he just caught on to me saying kids instead of a kid.

We spent a good portion of the morning at his neurologist's office. By the end of the visit they had told him he could begin training, but they wanted to hold off on full contact until a couple more time had passed. Just knowing he could train and begin to get himself back in fighting condition put him in such a better mood.

Landon's POV

Once we left the doctor's office, I stopped by my moms do a second. Mainly because I hadn't seen her since I went off on her so I wanted to apologize.

Arely and I hopped out the car with Jr. and knocked on the front door. It was a little bit cold so Arely and I were shoulder to shoulder trying to stay warm in this ice cold wind.

"Hey, what're y'all doing here?" My mom smiled immediately.

"Just stopping by." I said.

She opened the door for us and we hurried inside.

"It's cold as fuck out there" I said.

"What brings y'all by?" My mom sat on the couch.

"I just came from my neurologist appointment."

"How'd that go?" She asked.

"I can start training again, but no heavy contact" I smiled.

"That's good, I'm happy for you L." She smiled big.

When I first started boxing my mom was kind of iffy about it. But once she saw how it changed my behavior, she was happy for me. She had always struggled with me and my behavior so seeing me find a way to get my aggression out in a positive way definitely relieved her from stressing about if I was going to get myself hurt or in trouble.

"Thank you... it's perfect timing too. We might be expect number 2"

"... What?? Really?" She smiled.

"Maybe... I have to take a test but I'm pretty sure" Arely added.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so happy for y'all" she hugged us both.

"Thank you" I said.

We stayed over there for a couple of hours until Arely started getting hungry, then we found ourselves something to eat. I know we hadn't done too much today but I was still kind off tired and it was only like 2 in the afternoon. We ended up getting some Wendy's before heading home.

"Faith just texted me" Arely said.

"What did she say?" She asked.

"Santos got arrested" she said.

"What? For what?" I asked.

"Possession with intent to distribute and Possession of a firearm while committing a felony"

"Goddamn" I shook my head.

"How much is his bond?" I asked.

"$10,000 cash"

"Goddamnn" I repeated

"Yours was more baby" Arely told me.

"For real?"

"$12,000 I believe" she told me.

I could only shake my head.

"She's saying he doesn't want to be bailed out because it's safer for him locked up right now" she explained.

Which that makes the most sense because by did just have someone try to kill him on my doorstep. In jail, he probably has a better chance of standing his ground even if it is with a shank of something fucked up like that.

"So now what?" I asked.

"She wants to come over. She doesn't want to be home alone"

"Fine by me" I said parking in the driveway.

After another hour, Faith showed up. Her and Arely went to the living room to talk while I chilled with Jr. I can't believe this fool went off and got arrested but at the same time I can.

It was only a matter of time before his luck ran out again but I can say he did keep it together for a long time. I know Santos has a good heart but you just can't take the hood out of that dude.

He's a true Crip till the day he die...
