5 years old she and 6 years old he:

She was crying because an older boy pushed her off the swing, he came and scolded the boy and made her ride the swing. Seeing her smile made him smlie.

9 years old she and 10 years old he:

She yelled,
"Why did you complain to ammi about me? You were the one who told me to do it!"
(Mother)
"Please! He was angry because of you, not me!" he said casually.
Apparently both of them were throwing water at each other from bottles when water from her bottle soaked a person's shoes while he(p) was passing by, he(p) got angry and started scolding them, when their moms came, he blamed it on her.

13 years old she and 14 years old he:

They started developing feelings for each other. He thinks she is the most beautiful girl. And she thinks he is always being clingy, but likes it too. They have become more friendly than before, they don't quarrel all the time. He praises her a lot, always wants to be with her. Even though she tries to ignore it, none of them can deny that they do have a slight crush on each other.

Now:

"Assalamualaikum!", Samaira yelled and tackled Zara in a hug.

"Walaikumassalam!" Zara hugged her back.

"I missed you sooo much!", Samaira exclaimed.

"We literally live next to each other Sam!", Zara laughed.

"Yeah, but I think the effect of missing you hasn't gone yet."

Zara was in Sweden for studies for the past 2 years. Samaira, Zara and Zain have grown up together. They were neighbours since their birth.

Their father's homes are next to each other where they've been living since their marriage. Now their grandparents have moved to Pakistan, leaving their fathers here in New Zealand which was almost 16 years ago. So, both the families are well acquainted with each other and Zara is basically an elder sister to Samaira and of course more friendly than Zain.

The three of them were very close before, but for the last two years, Zara's absence has made their bond a little weak. But Zara and Samaira had constant contact virtually, which was absent between Zain and Samaira. They met at functions and had casual chats though. So, Zara's return might bring back their old friendship.

"So, what did aunty send today?", asked Zara, knowing that Samaira's mom always sends something delicious for them to eat while spending time together.

"Well, she sent puris!"
(Spicy fried snack made of flour and lentils)

"Aahh! The smell itself is also tasty. I've missed mom's and aunty's foods!"

"You didn't miss me?", Samaira asked dramatically.

"Of course I did stupid, but maybe a little less than the food!"

"Ah! I'm hurt", Samaira wiped the invisible tears.

Zara just rolled her eyes at her, she missed all these.

"Anyway, what are we doing today?", Zara asked.

"Let's watch a movie!"

"Which one?"

"Kung fu Panda 3?", Zara suggested, she knows Samaira loves animated movies.

"Yess!"

They went to Zara's room and started the film.

Half way through the film, the door of the room burst open revealing an angry Zain,

"Zara! You took my charger again!",
he yelled but softened a bit when his eyes fell on Samaira.
