They went to the Khan's and Zaif opened the door,
"Assalamualaikum guys! What up?", he bro hugged Sahil and they went inside.
Rashed and Hafiza were in their bedroom. So they first decided to break the news to the squad. Samaira was grateful that Zain wasn't home.
They called Zara and Zain, but only Zara picked up,
"Assalamualaikum! Hey guys! How are you?", they all greeted back,
"Alhamdulillah fine. You?"
"I'm also fine Alhamdulillah. So, what's going on?"
"Does anything have to be going on? Can't we call you just like that?", Zaif asked.
"No, you usually don't. Only Samaira calls me to actually talk to me. You guys just call me to give me some news," Zara rolled her eyes.
"So, what's the news?"
"I don't know. They look suspicious though," Zaif said eyeing Samaira and Sahil.
"Okay, we wanted to tell you guys all together, but Zain bhai didn't answer the call, and Sara is in school. But, I can't wait anymore!", Sahil exclaimed.
"What? Is Samaira getting married?", Zara joked.
"Yes!", Sahil said.
"WHAT?!", Zaif was drinking water, he spilled them and Zara's eyes were widened.
"He's joking. I'm not getting married!", Samaira hit Sahil's arm.
"Oh,"they both sighed.
"Anyway, umm....I had applied for Biochemistry in University of Science in Malaysia and Igotaccepted!", Samaira said excitedly.
"What? Is it only me or none of you understood what she just said?", Zara asked.
"Nope, no idea! Be clear please!", Zaif said.
"I got accepted!" , Samaira squealed.
"WHAT?!"
"In MALAYSIA?", the Khan siblings interrogated.
"Yeah," Samaira shrugged with a huge smile on her face.
"Aaahhh!"
"Congratulations!!", they both started screaming.
They could hear Ashraf from behind asking if everything was alright.
"I wish I could hug you right now!", Zara exclaimed.
"Wait. It means you have to go to Malaysia," Zara asked, more like stated.
"Yeah."
"How long do you have to stay there?", Zara asked again.
"At least 2 years", Samaira replied sadly.
"What!"
"We're going to miss you!", Zaif pouted.
He loved Samaira as much as his own sister. He is also suspecting that his elder brother will be the more upset one. He has been watching recently the glances he gives at her.
"Come on guys! Don't be emotional now! We have one month in our hands before she has to go!", Sahil tried to cheer all up, if they were silent for a single moment more, all would have started crying.
"What? Only ONE month? I don't even know if I'll be able to spend the Eid with you guys this time!", Zara said sadly.
"You can come to bid her adieu InShaAllah. Then we'll plan something!", Sahil suggested.
