Samaira's exams are going to start next week. Then, only a few months left, her studies are going to be over, she's going to return to New Zealand soon. Reuniting with everyone InShaAllah.

She doesn't know what's the situation going to be with Zain, considering their last conversation face to face.
She was immersed in thoughts while waiting at the library for Anika and Safia. They were supposed to meet for a group study session. The sound of pulling chairs broke her trance.

"I don't get this dude! What does he want from you? Once he's all lovey dovey and does everything to impress you, and now he's pressurising you for marriage as soon as possible! What's wrong with him? He's a total idiot!", a very irritated Saifa whispered-yelled.

Samaira looked up and said Salam, Anika replied and Safia was about to go on ranting, but Anika's glare stopped her. She also said her Salam.

"Is everything alright?", Samaira could guess that they were talking about Ariz but asked anyway.

"Yes. Mostly. Just a little problem," Anika was talking when Safia interrupted,

"Little?! You call it little?", again, her best friend's glare stopped her midway, and Anika continued,

"Let's finish our studies first, we'll talk in the garden," Samaira nodded and they started their revision.

"Ariz's family had come at our home yesterday. His mother wants us to get married next week," Anika told Samaira while sipping on her coffee.

They were sitting at the University garden.

"Next week!?", Samaira's eyes widened,
"Isn't it too soon? Also, our exams are going to start!"

"Exactly," Safia chirped in,

"What's the hurry? I admit that aunty had a problem with Anika studyng further than highscool," Safia was telling Samaira, then turned to Anika,
"but you're literally gonna graduate in 6 months! They have waited for 1 and a half years, now why this hurry all of a sudden?"

Anika just lowered her eyes and bit her lips in anticipation,

"I don't know. But, they did let me study for so long, I think I should agree with them," she said defeatedly.

"WHAT!? Don't even think about leaving your studies at such a crucial moment! You're such a good student! You're gonna do so well Ani! I'm going to talk to uncle aunty, don't worry", Safia encouraged her.

Anika just sighed.

"You won't be able to study after your marriage?", Samaira asked being scared, the thought itself was disturbing to her.

"No, chachi(wife of paternal uncle) wants me to give all my attention at home after marriage," Anika said sadly.

"Well, did you tell your parents about your wish?", Samaira asked again, changing the topic.

"Yes I did. They do support me most of the times, but my uncle aunty are elder than them, so they really don't want to displease them."

Samaira thought for a few seconds then asked,
"Do you like him?"

Anika's eyes snapped towards her,
"Ariz?" to lower her eyes the next moment,
"I think so," her cheeks tainted with faint blush.

Samaira smiled at her state, it made her happy, to see her friend probably being in love,

"Did you talk to him about all this?"

Anika nodded in reply,
"I did tell him to wait," she said in a low voice.
