Few months later:
Today is Samaira's last exam of 12th standard's finals. Farida woke her up at the time of fajr. She prayed her salah, read Quran for some time and started to revise for one last time. Last exam was Biology which seemed pretty easy to her, so she was not that nervous. After studying for some time, she woke Sara up and went downstairs for breakfast.
Sahil and Hannan were already at the table. Farida was serving them breakfast. They greeted each other.
"How's your preparation?", asked Hannan.
"Alhamdulillah good Abbu," Samaira replied smiling.
"Best of luck Sam. Anyway, you'd do good today, InShaAllah," Sahil said.
"InShaAllah".
When they almost finished their breakfast, Sara came down hurriedly,
"Abbu, let's go, we're gonna be late!", she said while holding a bread in one hand and gulping down a glass of milk with the other.
"You're late Sara. Not we!", Sahil taunted her.
Sara, being the youngest one, is always clumsy and late.
Anyway, Hannan left with Sahil and Sara to drop them at school not before hugging Samaira and blessing her for her exam. Samaria and Farida bid them adieu and cleaned up the table. Samaira got ready and came downstairs but got surprised to see Zara early in the morning.
(It's Zara's wedding in 3 weeks. The groom is her father's friend's son. All of them were really happy because it was the first wedding together for them. Samaira was really happy at the fact that her exams will be over before the wedding.)
"Assalamualaikum," she greeted.
"Walaikumassalam! Today is your last exam, right?", Zara asked to which she just nodded still trying to figure out why Zara is here,
"So, after your exam, you're coming with us to shop for my wedding!", Zara squealed. Samaira looked at Farida for permission and she nodded,
"Okay then!".
"Well, aunty already gave permission and we're going to pick you up from school and go straight to the mall, okay?"
"Okay. InShaAllah."
"InShaAllah! Best of luck!".
Samaira bade them adieu and went to college with Ayesha. After finishing her exam she was waiting at the gate of her college for Zara. As Zara would be picking Samaira up, Ayesha went home. They had made plans to meet later.
Today's question was easy, so she was in a happy mood that her exam went well Alhamdulillah.
She was going through her WhatsApp chats to kill time. There were no new messages. Her eyes fell on a certain name from whom there was no messages since months. She had also been avoiding Zain since that incident though she blames it on her exams.
Well, Zain also didn't try to talk to her. At least she used to get to know from Zara that he was doing fine, even though no one yet knows what had happened to him that day. He had made an excuse to his parents though.
Samaira was thinking all this when a tap on her shoulder broke her trance,
"Hey! I've been calling your name for ages! Didn't you hear me?", said the last person she wanted to see right now.
"I'm sorry, I was just thinking about something," she said politely, even though she despised the fact that he just touched her.
"Were you thinking about me? Cause I've been thinking a lot about you!", Nadir said cheerfully. He was her classmate.
