When Will The Lying Stop

I was sitting in my room.  It was about 1:00 AM, and I was sitting on my balcony.  Mia was asleep in her crib and I was alone.  I was thinking about what the tailor said 'Hes tainted'... That was the last thing i needed to hear.  Why cant anything go right in my life?  First i find out that my mother is one of the most powerful evil forces in the universe, my dad never cared about me, I have a brother and a twin sister and-.  My thoughts were interrupted when Cherry was behind me, right on que.  of course.

"Hey, sis."  She sounded like she needed to talk.  Our relationship had gotten a lot better, i could consider her my best friend.  I knew that she would never abandon me.

"Hey Cher.  What brings you here this early in the morning?"

"I can sense when something is not right... Remember were twins, that comes into play a lot."

"I know, but how did you get in here?" 

"i just flew up here.  Why?"

"Sorry my mind is all over the place and i had forgotten for a minute that we can fly."  Wow was m y mind really that out of it?

"Yes it is."  There she goes, answering my thoughts again. "Hey, what is family for?   Now why don't you take off your security and let me in your mind."  I did just that, i let her in and she explored my mind. 

"Find anything yet?"

"Well i did find that session with your tailor, wonderful dress choice by the way.  Cant wait to see it later.  Also by the way you know were not supposed to use our powers for intimidating people."

"I know, but she wouldn't talk!  Why would she keep things from me?  I was so mad that i totally forgot i could have just read her mind.  Throwing things was my immediate reaction."

"Hmmm, i guess it runs in the family.  I once threw a knife at a chef because he didn't was his hands.  He dodged it and it was fine."

"You almost killed him?"

"No, no.  Just scared him.  I could have dropped it at anytime, but he wasn't the type that would change unless he saw i was serious."   That soon gave me a thought, how about i just go through Jakes mind.  Find out everything.  "Because if you really wanted to know you would have done it already A."

"But that's his privacy..."

"Youre lucky that the downfall to reading minds is you can pick up some ones exact thoughts when they get nervous or angry."  Cher was right.  That was a plus.

"Yeah i guess.  Thanks sis."  and with that we hugged each other and she left.  I was glad she had thought of me and stopped by.  But now it was time to go to sleep.
