I always dreamed of being a princess, Then it came true...

Always know what to say.

I slowly woke up when I felt someone touching me.  I panicked and gripped Mia tighter. 

"Woah! A!  Calm down!"  I opened my eyes and saw Jake... In the air... I guess I did that without thought trying to protect Mia.

"Sorry Jake.  I didn't mean to do that."

"Its alright just remind me never to touch you while your sleeping."

"Right...  Did you know that Mal-"  He covered my mouth and looked at me.

"Never say her name."  He let go of my mouth and was still staring at me.

"How about we call her Lily."

"Okay, that works."  He looked relieved.

"Why cant we say her name?"

"If she's looking for you and you say her name she will find you.  Its kind of like she has a tracking device on everyone.  I let you say it before, and we all would say it without thinking because she was all the way out of country.  But now that she's here and everyone's aware we don't use her name."

"Oh, She's after me isn't she.."

"Yep, and the only way to stop her is to kill her."  My heart sped up and I started panicking.

"Kill... her?"

"Yes, we will need to attack on surprise though."  I was lost.

"I know you are.  Look, if we get someone who can distract her enough to make her unaware of your presence then we can."

"How are we going to do that?  Huh?  If you can sense my mind and what im thinking how do you know she can't?"  I was scared.  My thoughts were always floating around.

"The only way that I can always sense your thoughts is because we are together.  I always keep my mind open to you and subconsciously you keep yours open to me also."

"That would explain a lot."  But how am I going to keep them quiet right before im about to kill someone?"  My heart sped up even faster.

"Don't panic A.  You can do it." 

"So how do I keep my mind clear?"

"Just keep your mind focused on the same thing that were using to distract her.  For example if we use music keep your mind tuned in with the music.  Feel the instruments and the band."

"Sounds easy enough then."  Not really..  Jake then laughed and I was trying to figure out why...

"I'm laughing because your voice says "'Sounds easy."'  But your mind says you are scared.  So were going to practice."

"How are we going to do that?"

"I am Lily and you are going to come up behind me.   I will try and find your thoughts and you will focus on Mia.  Focus on your love for Mia and how cute she is."  He turned around and sat down.  He started playing with Mia.  "Ready, Go."  He already had me walk a few feet back just like if I was going to sneak up.  I took a deep breathe and focused.  I focused on Mia and how playful she was.  How beautiful she was and how she was all mine.  Then I started to walk towards Jake.  I continued thinking of Mia and slowed my mind down.  Then I tapped Jakes shoulder.  "Great job A.  I didn't  pick you up." 

"Thanks.  How are we going to get her alone?"

"I will make myself look like a waiter and say someone has called for her.  A boy from California and then you will come up behind her at the ball tonight.  Sound good?"

"Yeah."  We picked up our stuff and headed to the castle to get ready.
