The Mind Flayer stood in front of me and roared loudly. It stuck one of its claws into me causing me to scream.
"Y/n!" I heard Steve scream.
The flayer took its claw out and I dropped to the ground. I scrambled as far back as I could.
"Over here asshole." I heard a familiar voice say.
Over to my left was Billy Hargrove. He looked to me with a smile then looked back to the flayer. The large monster raised its arms and stuck them through Billy. I screamed as it picked up Billy slowly then dropped him to the ground.
I ran over to his body and held him as he bled out.
"I'll miss you Henderson." He said to me.
"I had fun trying to win you over. I think it worked." He said with a weak smile.
"Please don't leave me." I said.
Billy let out his last breath and his eyes became still. I began shaking him as if he would just wake up.
"Billy please, I can't do this without you." I said hoping he would just wake up and be okay.
But nothing.
My sobs became louder and louder until I eventually let out a loud scream. I felt a wave of energy exit my body. I looked up and through the tears in my eyes I watched the monster in front of me disintegrated.
Max ran over to me. She was also crying.
