I used the shadows to my advantage as I made my way around cops and medical personnel as they watched the old warehouse in horror. This copycat archer that had started murdering people, had just taken hostages. The police couldn't get inside, whoever this archer was they had lined each entrance with explosives.

Oliver had pulled me aside at the Christmas party his family was holding and told me he needed my help. Oliver had been keeping me up to date on the copycat archer that had began killing people on the list he had. He hadn't needed my help until now. With the hostages in the equation, he wanted me to take care of them while he looked for the archer.

I walked up to the warehouse and phased through on of the walls. I could hear the hostages, they were upstairs. I used my powers to keep myself invisible just in case the archer was walking around the warehouse while he waited.

When I got to the hostages, I revealed myself. At that moment, Oliver came crashing through the glass ceiling in his hood outfit. As I released the hostages Oliver checked the area to make sure it was clear.

I led the group of hostages to a staircase that accessed the roof, Oliver stayed behind the group making sure no one ambushed us from behind. When we arrived to the staircase, I let the hostages go ahead of me.

"I'll make sure they get out of here safely." I said to Oliver. He nodded his head and began his search for the archer.

Once again I made myself invisible while going up the steps behind the group. A helicopter was beginning to land on the roof as I came up. A few guards came off the helicopter making sure all the hostages were accounted for. After I watched it pick up the hostages and fly off, I went back into the warehouse.

I could hear movement happening down on the first floor.

I quickly made my way down to where I heard the noise. I found Oliver getting his ass kicked by this new archer. I held up my hands as shadows shot up from the ground and grabbed the archer. The shadows pulled him back against the nearest wall and restrained him as I made my way over to Oliver.

"And who might you be?" The archer asked, intrigued by my presence. I ignored him as I checked on Oliver.

"Are you okay?" I asked Oliver, who definitely did not look okay.

"No." He groaned. I bit my lip. I helped him up to his feet, he could barley stand. I let the archer free from the shadows restraining him.

"I suggest you get out of here." I warned him.

"I suggest you do the same." He said sarcastically.

I helped Oliver out to the back while he called Dig to let him know where we would be. When we go to one of the entrances with an explosive at it, I used the shadows to disarm it. At this point, Oliver had passed out and I was fully carrying him by myself. Which was hard to say the least.

When we exited the warehouse, Dig was waiting for us with a van.

"What happened to him?"

"What does it look like? He got his ass handed to him by the archer." I told Dig.

Dig helped me get Oliver into the back of the van where I sat with him. Dig got into the driver's seat.

"You need to head to the hospital." I said.

"What? Why? I thought you said you could heal people?" Dig asked me with a mixture of shock and confusion.

"I can only do so much. If I heal him completely, it'll kill me. I'll do what I can but it won't fix everything."

Dig nodded and quickly began driving to the hospital. I held my hands over Oliver's body. I closed my eyes and let out a breath as I relaxed myself. When I opened my eyes, my hands were emitting a bright light as they healed some of the life threatening afflictions Oliver had recieved from the archer.

I felt my eye lids beginning to get heavy as Dig pulled up to the emergency room entrance.

"Dig, when you park. Focus on Oliver. Take him in there and get him checked in. Leave me in the van." I said.

"What are you talking about? Are you ok?" Dig asked worried.

"I'm going to pass out. It's not anything bad, it's just like I'm going to sleep for the night." I explained.

"You can't just tell me you're going to pass out and expect me to leave you here."

"Dig, I'm fi-." Before I could finish the sentence, I had passed out.

When I woke up again, I shot up from laying down. I was in a hospital bed. I almost rolled my eyes because of Dig's actions. I know he was worried but I didn't need to be brought into the hospital.

Sitting in a chair next to my bed was Malcolm Merlyn, the father of Oliver and I's close friend Tommy. He was asleep and had not yet woken up. I could tell he needed the sleep. I looked over to the bed side table to see my phone.

I quickly picked it up to see how much time had passed. It had only been a few hours, I let out a sigh of relief. The last time I had passed out, I went into a coma for 6 years.

I looked at Malcolm for a second, trying to decide whether or not to wake up him up. Before I could open my mouth, his eyes began to slowly open. Once he realized that I was awake, his eyes fully shot open and he got up from his seat. He took a step over to me and engulfed me in a hug.

"I was so worried." He said into my shoulder.

"I'm fine, I think I just overworked myself." I said as I wrapped my arms around him.

"That's what the doctors said, I wasn't sure when you would wake up." Malcolm was now sitting on the edge of my hospital bed.

"I'm thinking you should take some time off." Moira Queen spoke up with. She was standing in the door way of my hospital room.

"No, it's really fine." I said. I was the director of marketing for Queen Consolidated. It was a well known fact that I was constantly working and I never really took off.

"You deserve it Y/n." Moira said before walking away.

I looked to Malcolm who still had a worried look on his face.

"I'm fine." I reassured him.

"I know." He held my hands tightly before kissing the top of my head.
