Clementine spoke to an unconscious Eleanor as we accompanied the gurney carrying her to the Emergency Room. a blood bag hung above the gurney, supplying blood to Eleanor

Lexington: Mommy and daddy are here

Lexington caressed Eleanor's head

Evan: Help is on the way. Hold on a bit longer, Eleanor

Eleanor's mouth was covered by a nasal cannula and her eyes were still black after being punched in the face by presumably Jake and Harriet. Beside her, a heart monitoring device shows a very weak pulse

Doctor: I'm impressed that she's still alive after being punched in the face by an Ace Operative despite having no aura

We made our way to the emergency room where the doctor stopped us

Doctor: I'm afraid that you can't enter beyond this point. Please wait outside

Evan: Please save my daughter

Doctor: We'll try our best.

The doctor then walked into the emergency room where the light above lit up once he did so. There was silence for a few minutes before Lexington breaks it

Lexington: Evan, Glorious, Valiant, Elbe, Forbin, Le Triomphant. All of you take the kids and Go celebrate Evan's birthday. I'll stay here and look out for any updates on Eleanor's condition

Evan: but-

I was about to protest when Lexington interrupted me

Lexington: Today is a special occasion for you Evan. You have to wait one year to celebrate it again if you miss it. Don't worry, I'll be alright and I'll notify you if I have any news about Eleanor's condition

Lexington then turned to the others

Lexington: I think it's only appropriate if Evan and I are the only ones waiting here as we're the biological parents of Eleanor. If any of you wish to accompany us then I'll appreciate it. If not, then I won't force you but either way, I won't force you to stay for long. Now Go, you have a special occasion waiting for you Evan

Evan: If that's what you want Lexington. I'll bring some of the cake to you as well

Lexington: You don't need to but thanks

Lexington kissed me

Lexington: Happy Birthday Evan. Although it's not much, you can consider the kiss as my birthday present to you.

I blushed in response

Lexington giggled before turning to the others
