—> (listen i know i said i wouldn't do smut but...)

everyone sat around in eddie's trailer as nancy described everything vecna showed her when she was in her trance. you sat on the floor next to robin, furrowing your eyebrows as nancy went on.

"okay, but, he's just trying to scare you, nance, right? i mean, it's not real." steve suggested, trying to reason with the fragile girl.

"not yet." she whispered, shifting her gaze to him.

"jesus christ." you muttered under your breath, rubbing your face with the palms of your hands in frustration.

soon enough, the group was gathered around eddie's kitchen table as eddie described a
some store named 'warzone'.

"they got everything you need for, uh, well, uh, killing things, basically." he states, shifting awkwardly.

"do you think fake rambo has enough guns there? is that a grenade? how is any of this legal?" you spoke up, questioning the logistics of this place. eddie shot you a glare and responded with his classic sarcastic remark and shit-eating grin.

"well, lucky for us it is." he responded, narrowing his eyes at you. you rolled your eyes subtlety at him, looking back to the group to gage their stance on eddie's idea.

"alright, but, eddie's still a wanted man. no way we can lead him into a gun store full of angry hicks." dustin stated, furrowing his eyebrows.

"he's right. eddie needs to stay here, we'll come back once we've gotten everything and make an escape, but for now he stays put." nancy agreed, pointing a finger down, adding visual aid.

"okay, fair enough, but what if things here start to go south. i mean, this is my trailer after all. if anyones trying to find me, this would be the first place they check." eddie countered, staring at the group, waiting for someone to come up with something.

"true. which is why y/n will stay with you. i promise we'll be quick." robin said with a hesitant smile. your eyes went wide at the words. no way you were staying with eddie in his trailer alone. you just couldn't do it.

"are you kidding? absolutely not."

"no, no, no. anyone but her."

protests erupted from the both of you immediately. you and eddie had always had a mutual clashing, a rivalry if you will. everything he did annoyed you. you used to always get partnered with him on projects and he'd never do his share of work. he would mess with you in class, throwing balled up pieces of paper at you. even looking at him for too long made you irritated. his metalhead attitude, his long hair, the chains he wore that made noise everytime he moved.

he wasn't too fond of you either. your insistent need to make remarks about his style, or the way you glared at him every time he said something to you. he tried to be nice for a while, but once he realized that wasn't going anywhere, he just gave into your antics, messing with you every chance he got. but sometimes he found his gaze landing on you in class or in the hallways, letting his eyes linger for a little too long. he'd find himself thinking about your voice late at night, something you'd said to him in class, probably making fun of the pins on his jean jacket. he didn't like the way you made him feel. it confused him.

"sorry, it's already been settled, we don't have time for complaints. can you guys promise not to kill each other before we get back?" steve insisted, causing eddie to roll his eyes and you to cross your arms.

"nope." you breathed out, plopping down on the couch, arms still folded in irritation. everyone also grabbed there stuff, max throwing her headphones on before heading out the door, robin being the last one out.
