Beomgyu knew who vandalized Soobin's locker. He wanted to tell Yeonjun.
He really thought he could but he didn't say anything when he saw Yeonjun in the locker room. It hurt him not to tell.
He lays on his bed now, about to call his parents. I'm going to make it up to Soobin. It rings a few times but soon declines.
Beomgyu's heart drops but he hears a ding. A text message from his mother.
He smiles and quickly sends a few links of some sick transportation.
Satisfied, he turns his phone off and stretches his limbs. Perfect. Everything is gonna be okay.

After Soobin had sped out of the school he quickly went to retrieve his bike only to find the tires shredded up. So, Soobin walked home, hugging himself tight to feel some warmth.
Soobin once at home noticed that his father was out again.
Soobin is upstairs, sitting at the windowsill in his bedroom, looking out at Yeonjun's house.
Soobin plays some music as he waits for Yeonjun's car to pull up. Soobin feels a little desperate, a little pathetic, but he does his best to swallow those emotions down. Soobin couldn't find the energy to beat himself up over it now.
Soobin didn't get it.
He could barely eat the dinner he cooked for himself earlier or concentrate on the research assignment he had due. Soobin didn't understand. He wish he could control the thoughts like he used to.
I wonder if Yeonjun is thinking about me too.
The sun is setting, and Soobin's backside begins to go numb. He is about to get up when he hears the distant hum of a car. Soobin immediately recognizes it as Yeonjun's car.
The vehicle slowly rolls in.
Soobin watches. He doesn't really know what he's doing. He doesn't know what to do now that Yeonjun's right across the street from him so he just watches.
Soobin wonders, what does Yeonjun do all alone in that house?
Before, When Yeonjun's mother was sent away, the boy lived with Soobin until he was deemed old enough to live in his house unsupervised. Only then did Soobin wonder how Yeonjun kept himself busy.
Soobin remembers how Yeonjun started to retreat from Soobin. He'd isolate himself. Soobin knows that the boy chooses to be alone even when he doesn't want to be.
It was when Yeonjun started getting involved in all sorts of things, despite Soobin's protests and efforts, that he made sure to push away any curiosity he had about Yeonjun for his own peace of mind. He didn't want to know what Yeonjun did all alone.
Now, however, he thinks about what the boy is going to do in such a large house- all by himself.
Soobin mostly studies, takes jobs time to time, cooks, reads, watches shows, and hangs out with Beomgyu and Yeonjun. That's been his life for years.
Soobin has no clue what Yeonjun is up to. How he keeps himself busy.
Soobin would like to think that Yeonjun is seeing his psychologist, going to his behavioral and cognitive therapy, taking his medication and practicing healthy habits.
But, deep down, Soobin knew better. Deep down, Soobin felt responsible for it all.
But Yeonjun's confession from earlier is still ringing in his ears. It's something Soobin has been yearning to hear lately. He says he's getting better.
