Soobin's fast asleep. His head lays on top of Yeonjun, their legs intertwined, listening to the man's heart. Yeonjun's asleep too, head resting against the cushion of the large couch. His arm dangles off it, nearly touching the cool ground.
It was dark, around 3:00am.
The only sounds that shake the house is the uncoordinated wind, accompanied by faint sounds of a clock ticking.Yeonjun's dreaming again. His fingers twitch and brow furrows. A slight jolt and whimper escape him. It shakes Soobin enough that his eyes flutter open.
Soobin opens and closes them, again, and again until his vision clears. He recognizes the silhouette of the television and furniture around. The coffee table that rests a few feet away.
He sighs, eyes closing again, preparing to re-enter his slumber. However, another whimper comes from below him.
Soobin lifts his head up too look at Yeonjun's face. He lowers his head to gently press his chin against the older's chest.
Soobin notices the pout on his lips and the creased brow.
Soobin's hand lazily reaches to caress Yeonjun's collarbone, shoulder, with a soft drag. Even in his sleep. He's so troubled. Soobin sighs, I guess I could just wake him. Maybe rearrange ourselves so that it's more comfortable to sleep...
"Yeonjun..." Soobin whispers. Yeonjun doesn't budge. Soobin frowns, he rarely sleeps this deeply. Maybe I shouldn't wake him?
Soobin's hand leaves his chest. He does his best to maneuver himself off the boy's body without waking him. Yeonjun doesn't budge.
Soobin stands now, stretching his arms over his head. Maybe I did lose more weight than I thought... Soobin says looking down at the exposed part of his stomach.
Soobin lowers his arms and turns to look down at Yeonjun. The boy shifted and is now laying more on his side, facing Soobin, head resting on his bent elbow. Lashes fluttering against pink cheeks.
Soobin watches as the boy curls in on himself more. Soobin looks away. He feels the sharp uncomfortable feeling in his chest.
After a moment, Soobin releases a breath, and decides that he should probably grab his book bag. It was still on the floor by the front door. Once his feet stop stop in front of his book bag does he grab it. He moves across the hall as steadily as possible, only a light thud was heard beneath his heel.
Soobin approaches the living room coffee table, slowing down his pace to not shake the sleeping Yeonjun, still quiet and curled up on the coach.
Soobin clenches his jaw as he lifts his bag with one hand to softly place it atop the table. He relaxes as his he lets go, standing up straighter. Soobin's head turns to look behind himself. Yeonjun's eyes stare back at him.
"Oh! You scared me!" Soobin gasps, somehow keeping his voice lowered.
Yeonjun scoffs, eyes closing again. "What are you doing?" He mumbles. Voice low and firm.
Soobin feels his ears go red, his hand reaches up to brush some hair behind it to let the cool air soothe the warmed skin."Oh- I... I just- I was gonna come back. I woke up though because you were making some...sounds."
Yeonjun opens his eyes again, Soobin feels breathless at the way they seem to look right through him.
"My dream... Sorry."
Soobin swallows, "You- you remember it?"
Yeonjun nods.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
Yeonjun sits up, hair a mess, and eyes never leaving Soobin's.
"No." He says, lips quirked up in a small smile. "Will you come to bed?" He then eyes Soobin's book bag in his hands. Soobin sees clearly the shift in Yeonjun's expression, the light leaves his features as his eyes look up at Soobin again.
