Soobin slowly opens his eyes, only peeking, looking at the thin curtain covering his bedroom window. Light was seeping into the room, but it was the delicate and calm light that only comes with early morning. It illuminated the room in a an almost cold haze due because of the blue curtain.

Soobin lays on his right side, both hands on top of each other in front of his face, he glances up to see his alarm clock, the numbers (6:40am) glowed back at him. Soobin sighs,

I guess my body is tired of sleeping after this weekend...

It's Tuesday morning, Soobin knew that, but at the moment he's having difficulty trying to recall the intense events of yesterday.

A strong and firm arm hugs Soobin's waist a little tighter- Oh.

I remember now.

Soobin glances down at the arm draped over him. He feels Yeonjun's warm body pressed against his back, his plump lips touch the base of his neck, puffing out slow breaths.

Soobin sighs, putting the arm he lays on under the pillow to get more comfortable while the other trails down his body to intertwine his fingers with Yeonjun's. Soobin gently pulling him closer and Yeonjun hugs him a little tighter.

God, I missed this. I need this.

Soobin can't help but smile softly, it's a sad smile although Soobin would never come to realize it, but he's lost in this warmth in Yeonjun's smothering.

He loves how Yeonjun always wants him close no matter if they are arguing, fighting, crying, afraid, or laughing. Yeonjun always has him close, and it's during moments like these that Soobin realizes that he doesn't mind it, even if it hurts him sometimes.

Everything is going to be okay. He concludes.

And, with that thought, Soobin closes his eyes again.

He realizes, however, that the breathing against his neck speeds up a bit.

He's awake.

Soobin hopes he didn't wake him but nonetheless, he starts to turn in Yeonjun's embrace to face him. Yeonjun adjusts himself as well, so Soobin can look into his eyes clearly. His arm now hugs Soobin tighter, the palm of Yeonjun's hand pressing flat against the curve of Soobin's spine.

Soobin peeks a little, still sensitive to the light, and sees Yeonjun staring at him, eyes looking alert as he rests on his bare bicep. Soobin remembers now, they crashed last night from exhaustion and Yeonjun was unfortunately left without a pillow.

It seems though that Yeonjun managed to take his shirt off at least, overheated as the AC was also forgotten. Soobin could faintly feel his own sweat under his shirt.

"Oh, you're awake? Here, share my pillow." Soobin mumbles, scooting his relatively large pillow over. Yeonjun nods his head but uses the blue material to prop himself up on his elbow to look down at Soobin.

Yeonjun, other than his bloodshot eyes, looks as if he didn't have a breakdown last night. Soobin admires this since it takes a while for his face to not be so puffy and red after a cry. That's why Soobin rarely watched sad or scary things. I might start though, since every week he'd somehow end up puffy and red anyways, he figures.
