It's Monday, the day Beomgyu dreaded the most.

Many have already reminded him of the events of last Friday, especially the story the drunk boy revealed over a game of Truth or Dare. Beomgyu couldn't help but feel incredibly guilty... but also a little bit embarrassed.

I can't believe I admitted to kissing a boy, shit. At least I'm popular and liked, but Soobin...

Shit.

Beomgyu sighs loudly, slamming his locker shut. He's alone now in the locker room, and he just can't stop thinking about how Soobin didn't show up to practice today. Coach told the team that he went home 'sick,' but Beomgyu knew better.

Beomgyu also didn't miss the way Yeonjun entered the locker room after his football practice, fuming and shouting at anyone who crossed his path or bumped his shoulder. In moments like those, Beomgyu was glad to be in Yeonjun's good graces. But damn, he's scary.

For as long as he can remember, Beomgyu has always wanted to be friends with Yeonjun. The boy who always flaunted his fantastic body, face, and daring hairstyles of various colors. He was alpha of this school and of whoever he encountered. He fucked without care, walked around without concern, and spoke to anyone however he liked... But Beomgyu noticed something.

Yeonjun happens to care quite a lot.

Beomgyu would peek at the price tags to Yeonjun's more simple outfits; the man would flaunt his money more than Beomgyu whose parents hold major stocks in this town. People noticed this, but did they really? Beomgyu noticed. Yeonjun would wear a seemingly regular tank top but it cost $150. None of the items Beomgyu has seen Yeonjun wear was below $55. Beomgyu paid attention to the $200 rings on his fingers or the YSL necklace he'd wear over his grey hoodie or jersey sometimes. Beomgyu realized the cheapest version of that necklace sold at $350 after looking it up.

Yeonjun seemed to care a lot about how he presented himself, to what extent? Beomgyu doesn't know, but he can identify that they both have this in common.

Beomgyu also wanted the clout, of course. But after giving up on approaching the other, he moved on and unexpectedly became friends with Soobin freshman year. It's as if, all of a sudden, once he started hanging around with the quiet boy on his soccer team, Yeonjun finally saw him.

Beomgyu moved slow today, upset over Soobin. He thought he was alone in the locker rooms but a hand on his shoulder, roughly spinning him around, pressing him against the lockers immediately proved Beomgyu wrong.

He wished to hang out with Yeonjun, just them two, at some point before senior year.

Beomgyu didn't expect this though, their first encounter to happen when he was already eleven minutes late to meet his driver.

"Fix it." Yeonjun spits, standing in front of him as his finger digs into the flesh of Beomgyu's chest. Beomgyu's eyes widen, "I will! Jesus, I haven't seen Soobin today yet." He explains, hands up in surrender. The finger on his chest kind of hurts now, but he doesn't move it. He won't dare try when Yeonjun looks like he's ready to punch someone. Probably Beomgyu.

And Soobin isn't here- fuck my life.

Yeonjun grabs a fistful of Beomgyu's shirt, lifting him a bit, so he stands on his toes. "Invite him to the soccer party this weekend," Yeonjun demands, voice threatening.
