The pair make it to the front door of the house party but before Soobin can pass through, there's a hand on his chest stopping him.
The boy looks at Soobin but as he opens his mouth to protest his entry, he catches sight of Yeonjun who stands close behind Soobin.
"O-Oh, Yeonjun! and Soobin!"
"What's up." Yeonjun smiles, his hand resting at the small of Soobin's back discreetly. Soobin wants to shake him off.
"Come right in!" The guy says, stepping aside and opening the door for them. Soobin's eyes widen at the sea of sweaty boys and girls, all dressed in dark purple. The music booms, causing the first floor of the body house to vibrate. Good thing the sheriffs could care less about the town and even less about the high school, Soobin wishes they did care though. He's had too many unfortunate run ins with the police to count on them for anything.
Oh, wow.
Soobin momentarily pauses upon seeing the crowded room which flashed blue, and purple, the lights danced on the ceiling and on all the bodies.
Yeonjun gently nudges at his back. Soobin flinches away which resulted in him jumping into the room, he can't hear Yeonjun's chuckle once inside.
Soobin is too overwhelmed to even think of where to go but Yeonjun is pushing his back so Soobin walks.
Soobin hates feeling lost, now feeling more upset that he has to rely on Yeonjun right now.
They push past sweaty bodies, and soon make it to a semi empty kitchen which connects to another part of the house entirely. Soobin briefly peeks over to see that it's the "drinking game" side. Beer pong and other active games take place in pink and red lit rooms contrary to the previous blue and purple.
Soobin waits in the kitchen, enjoying how it's less crowded. He leans against the counter, by the sink and watches Yeonjun open the fridge like he owns it. He pulls out a half full bottle of tequila.
Ew.
Yeonjun leans against the now closed fridge, directly across from the sink.
Soobin glares at Yeonjun as he twists the bottle open and tips his head back, waterfalling the liquor.
So much for not 'doing anything' tonight, Soobin bitterly recalls Yeonjun's promise. Once Yeonjun's done he makes a small face of distaste and holds eye contact with Soobin as he holds the bottle in his hand. Yeonjun sighs looking at him.
"That's it. I won't drink anymore." Yeonjun says over the music, his eyes briefly glancing down at Soobin's legs.
"You better not. You have to drive us back."
"I can't believe you said that to me at the car back there. What would your father think?" Yeonjun smirks and brings the bottle back up to his mouth, water falling it again.
Soobin cringes at the sight so he looks to the side, watching the beer pong table a short distance away. One poor kid is getting absolutely demolished. Soobin watches the red-pink sillouette down another cup before laughing loudly. Soobin freezes up.
I know that laugh...
Soobin starts walking toward the table, leaving the kitchen area. Yeonjun looks confused but follows behind Soobin.
