Inari's POV

We were gathered in a room, discussing the changes we needed to make to the original plan.

"Excuse me... no matter how you look at it, this is considered very extreme bullying," Itadori spoke up, his tone filled with concern. I couldn't help but chuckle at his earnestness.

"Smile more, Yuuji!" I teased, snapping pictures of him from different angles.

He was kneeling on the floor, holding the frame that previously held his photo. "Shut up and stay there for a while!" Kugisaki snapped, clearly annoyed by the situation.

"Oh, come now. You heard his explanation. Cut him some slack!" Panda intervened, his voice calm and soothing. "The panda talked!" Itadori exclaimed, surprise evident in his voice.

"Oka-Ka!" Inumaki chimed in, adding to the confusion.

"What?" Itadori asked, clearly bewildered.

"Inumaki-senpai is a cursed speech user. He can amplify the power and compulsion of words. He limits his vocabulary to keep others safe," Fushiguro explained patiently.

"So if he told someone to go die, they'd actually die?" Itadori asked, his eyes widening in realization.

"Sometimes," I confirmed with a nod. "That's really powerful!" Itadori remarked, impressed by the extent of Inumaki's power.

I smiled, ruffling Itadori's hair affectionately, before taking away the frame and helping him to his feet.

"It's not as convenient as it sounds. It depends on the difference in strength and the command itself," Panda added, providing further context to Inumaki's ability.

"More powerful the command, the more it takes out of him. At its worst, his words might come right back at him," Maki explained the limitations of Inumaki's ability.

"By limiting his vocabulary, Toge is protecting himself as well," Panda added. "So, how are you able to speak, Senpai? Are you some new breed of panda?" Itadori asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Blabbing and revealing techniques like that..." Kugisaki interjected, clearly annoyed by the discussion.

"It's fine. Toge's isn't that kind of technique anyway. More importantly, Yuuji, give my Slaughter Demon back. Satoru lent it to you, right?" Maki requested, reaching out her hand towards him.

"G-Gojo-sensei h-has it!" Itadori stammered, avoiding eye contact.

'You liar! He broke it.'

"Tch! That's blindfolded dumbass!" She clicked her tongue in frustration. "So, what's the plan?" I interjected, steering the conversation towards our upcoming strategy.

"The team battle format is just as we expected, but we have another member now," Maki responded, acknowledging the need for adjustments.

"Do we change strategies?" Fushiguro inquired. "There's not much time," I added. "Well, that depends on you, Yuji. What can you do?" Maki directed her question towards Itadori.

"Kicks!! And punches!!" Itadori replied cheerfully, attempting to lift everyone's spirits.

"We've got enough of those!" Panda sighed. Unfortunately, my boyfriend seemed disheartened, realizing that his current skills might not be enough for the challenges ahead.

"I don't know what he was up to while he was gone, but if it comes down to a brawl without cursed energy, even if everyone attacked him all at once, Itadori would win," Fushiguro stated confidently, earning a smirk from Maki.
