STELL:

I heaved a sigh after pulling out my dark chocolate cookies from the oven. I hope Pau will love it since it's not too sweet. My picky husband isn't into sweets, but I am an exception. I'm pretty sure, he'll love what I just baked for him since it smells so good and it looks so yummy too. I savor it once I tasted it in my tongue. Perfect. Not too sweet for my love. After finishing the sweet crumbs in my mouth and a glass of water, I let my cookies to rest in a tray.

I fished my phone that is long rested on the island as soon as I begun baking. I am watching some random videos a while ago while doing in the kitchen until I lost track of it and completely forgotten about what I'm watching so I turned it off and played music instead in my speaker. I checked the wall clock and it says past six o'clock already.

I excitedly typed on my phone. "Where na u paupau?"

My phone dings, indicating a message just popped up. "Pauwi na, Tey ko."

I smiled as I run a fingers to my wet damp hair. The summer heat is too much for me right after I finishes my daily workout in the balcony. The slicky musk of sweats coming out from my pores makes me uncomfortable so I took a bath right after in order for me to breathe comfortably.

"Malapit ka na ba?"

In a seconds, Pau responded immediately. "Just got out from the basketball court. Nasa parking pa lang. Why?"

"Pwede pasuyo? I checked the cupboard kasi tapos ubos na pala ang sweet and sour candies ko. Would you mind buying me some?"

"I won't. Anything else? :)" I smiled adorably to his effort in putting a smiley. Cute.

"Can you buy some ensaymada too?" I added. I just finished the last piece of it this breakfast.

"No problem. Got you." I know. You always got me.

"Pau, meron pa pala akong gusto." I bit my inner cheeks.

My phone dings again. I bark a small laugh this time. "Just tell me. I'm about to go out from the parking."

"I want you." I miss him already. Can't wait to see him. I mean, I always misses him even if he's used to be so close to me after we tied our knots together three years ago.

"Hahahaha! Love you. I'm coming home. Don't miss me too much." I pouted after reading his reply.

"Love you too. Hurry home. Don't you dare reply to this msg and don't text while you're driving." From that, I put aside my phone as I busied myself putting all the dark chocolate cookies that I baked in a nice transparent Tupperware. There's no occasion. I just love treating my husband.

I smiled widely as I took a picture of it. It looks so cute and pleasant. I even clapped my hands out of excitement. I love baking and when Pau and I got married three years ago at New York City, my hobbies immediately conquered my hands as I can't stop baking for Pau and the more he appreciates my cakes, cookies and cupcakes, the more eager I am to satisfy him and treat him like a King. Well, he's definitely my King.
