I woke up with Zion's multiple texts and five missed calls. Napakusot ako ng mata bago ko binasa iyon.

Zion:

Where the fuck are you? It's been almost fucking three weeks, Lavender!

Zion:

Tell me your location. I'll fetch you up.

Zion:

Ate, please fucking reply! I'm worried!

Napabalikwas ako ng kama. Ang sabi ko kay Lexie ay siya na ang magpalusot. Why is Zion texting me now?!

I opened my Instagram to chat with Lexie.

Lexie isn't replying. Tiningnan ko ang bagong story niya na kakapost lang niya five minutes ago. It was a picture of a fried egg.

Kumunot ang noo ko habang binabasa ang caption. "Cry all you want pero mas masarap pa rin ang sunny-side up egg kaysa sa itlog mo."

Ang kalat talaga nitong si Lexie. Pati sa Intagram ay naghasik pa ng lagim.

Napabuntong-hininga ako bago nagtipa ng message para kay Zion. I said that I was living somewhere because of my work. Hindi siya nakuntento sa pagtatanong. He's so curious! He even called me!
