I threw up facing the toilet while Calen was holding my hair up. Hinahagod niya rin ang likuran ko habang nag-aalalang tinitingnan ako.

I didn't care anymore what I looked like. My head hurt so bad and I couldn't stop vomiting.

"The hell..." Hingal na sabi ko bago punasan ang labi gamit ang handkerchief ni Calen.

"Mommy..." Ravi called me and cupped my face. "Are you okay?"

I was kneeling, kaya magkapantay lang ang mga mata namin ni Ravi ngayon.

"Tummy hurts?" She was more concerned when I held my stomach. I just felt weird. Was it because I was nervous before we came here?

Hinawakan ni Ravi ang tiyan ko at marahan na hinaplos iyon. "Hurts?" Ulit niya.

Ngumiti ako at umiling. "Mommy is fine."

Hindi kumbinsido si Ravi sa sinabi ko dahil niyakap niya ako at tinapik-tapik pa ang likuran ko.

"Oh God, is she okay?" Tanong ng mommy ni Calen nang sumilip siya sa loob ng cr.

Hindi ako nakapagsalita nang unahan ako ni Calen. "She's not feeling well,"

Mabilis akong umiling sa sinabi ni Calen. Inimbitahan kami ni Mrs. Caitlyn dito para maghapunan, nakakahiya naman kung uuwi kami nang dahil sa akin! Besides, this is the first time they will have a dinner with their son again.

"I-I'm alright, Ma'am."

"No, you're not. We should go home—aw!"

Pasimple kong kinurot si Calen sa tagiliran at pinanlakihan siya ng mga mata. Inayos ko ang sarili bago humarap sa mommy niya.

"I'm really okay, Ma'am." I smiled at her. She nodded her head, but I could see on her face that she was still concerned about me.

"Really, Mommy?" Ravi hugged me, pero dahil nakatayo na ako ay tanging hita ko lang ang nayakap niya.

"Daddy will help mommy, okay? Go with grandma and grandpa and eat with them. I'll take care of mommy." Calen talked to her.

Kumalas si Ravi sa akin at tumango kay Calen. "Hmmm...okay, Daddy."

Mrs. Caitlyn held my daughter's hand. "Why don't you just go home? I know you're not feeling well. And it feels rude to eat first—"

"No, Ma'am. I'm really okay. Susunod na lang po kami ni Calen."

"If you insist then." Huminga nang malalim ang mama ni Calen bago tumango at umalis na.

Calen held my waist for support even though I didn't need it. But I feel comforted and warmed by his touch. I placed my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

"You're not feeling well." He stated. Parang alam na niya ang nararamdaman ko.

"I felt nervous before coming here. And I was pressured a little. Maybe that's why." Mahinang bulong ko sa kaniya.

"Why would you be? Nandito naman ako." He kissed my forehead.

"Shall we go there? Or do you want to go home? Don't feel guilty about it. We can always come back here."

Umiling ako. "I'm really fine. It's just...the Adobo kind of smells really weird. It triggered what I was feeling. Kaya siguro nasusuka ako."

"Adobo?" He raised his eyebrow.
