"Hey Goldie..."

Hunter was speechless, it had been awhile since they've talked, with him being the Golden Guard that is. He had to remember not to reveal anything. He hid Flapjack inside his costume really quick so he wouldn't get recognized.

"Oh um hey Edric," Hunter said a bit solemnly. Still a bit overwhelmed from experience he just had.

Edric noticed his tone though. "You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just a little on edge." That wasn't a total lie, he was on edge, just not a little.

"Oh alright, but um sorry for intruding I totally wasn't trying to spot you from my window, but I just happened to of and I saw you land in the clearing so I wanted my sister to meet, this Emira." Edric fumbled over his words slightly he seemed nervous but excited. It was like he was introducing his boyfriend to his parents.

Hunter shyly waved. Emira didn't say anything she just stared with her arms crossed. Edric noticed the tension.

"Hey Em, you wait here, hey Goldie can I talk to you?" Hunter and Emira nodded. Edric led Hunter through the woods a little past the clearing and they found a rock to sit on.

"So you seem upset, what's wrong?" Hunter couldn't get anything past Edric. His quiet nature and closed off stance was the clear indicator that something wasn't right.

"It's just stuff to do with my uncle it's no big deal."

Edric didn't seem to by it, but he didn't want to pry and respected his boundaries.

"Okay, but you know if you ever want to talk, I'm here, and I'll always be here for you, I promise." He placed a hand on Hunter's and stared into his eyes, even though he couldn't see them through the mask. Hunter had a wave of familiarity pass over him, almost like a slap in the face. Thats the same thing Encaro said, is this a sign?

He felt another wave of familiarity pass over him.

Holy Shit...

Maybe I could like Edric.

He had to get out of here right away and talk this over with someone, preferably Luz or even Amity but she would be a bit difficult to reach at the moment. Hunter just nodded at Edric as to not be rude and he stood up, the two walked back to the clearing where Emira was waiting.

She tapped her foot on the ground annoyed.

"Well your finally back, what'd you guys talk about."

Hunter was not in mood for anymore conversation, he was confused, and tired and felt as he was going to pass out any minute.

"Not much..." Hunter said in a harsher tone then he meant. Edric looked over at him a bit worried. Emira looked at Edric, then back at Hunter.

"Well I guess we've caught you at a bad time, what's wrong, Belos kick you out of the castle." Emira had very low respect for the Golden Guard, especially after what Amity told her with Eclipse Lake, and because Edric wouldn't shut up about him.

Hunter couldn't stay here any longer he was getting overwhelmed and dizzier by the minute.

"Let's just say some things are better left unsaid." Emira made a face of confusion then a face of recognition. She had heard this face phrase before the last time she had asked him what was wrong. But she hadn't asked the Golden Guard this, she has asked Hunter. He said it the exact same way as him, and come to mention it, their stances and speech patterns are quite similar. Emira gasped and started breathing heavy. Was Hunter a spy, a traitor, and imposter!?

Hunter and Edric both noticed Emira's change of attitude. Edric went over to her to see if she was alright while Hunter realized what just happened.
