The drive was excruciatingly long. Jackson and Emily wouldn't shut up about finding their mates and all the things they'd do to them. We all live together in the alpha house so there's a playroom for my baby boy, a dungeon for Emily and a bed with a cage underneath it in Jackson's room he sometimes sleeps in when he thinks he messed up. He says "beds are for good puppies" and then he hides in the cage.

We arrived at the Bloodmoom Pack earlier than we expected to. As soon as I stepped out of the car I instantly smelt blood but then the most enticing smell of sandlewood and sugar filled my nose. My wolf started pacing and jumping around in my head "Mate! Mate is near! Go. Mate. Now." I followed the scent immediately after I took 3 steps my wolf growled "Mate is hurt. Help mate!" I started sprinting towards the scent. I followed the scent to a larger open field behind the pack house, the scent kept getting strong the closer I got to the center to see what had gathered peoples attention and then I saw it. My baby boy was tied to a post being whipped with a silver spiked whip. He was covered in blood and scratches. My eyes turned red and my wolf took over letting out a terrifying growl causing everyone to stop and look at me. I walked towards the scene in front of my eyes never leaving the boy on the post, his breathing became shallow and his head hung low. "MINE!" my wolf yelled without my consent not that I care, they needed to know what they did. My eyes went back to the boy on the post and he wasn't moving. I rushed to him untied him and picked him up placing him on my hip letting him lay on me. "Where is his room?" I growled.
"I t-the a-a-attic, A-al-alpha Janine"
"THE ATTIC?!" I was beyond pissed "Take me. NOW!"
The boys scurried off and I followed them holding my baby boy close. I finally found my mate.
