CHAPTER 22 - LIPS 👄

*Max finally gave up waiting for Nath. He smiled at the staff, as if signaling that he was leaving the place*

Max: Can I lie to Lyn saying I've completed her request? *Talk to himself*

*The sliding door opens and Max walks out without noticing who is walking next to him and suddenly, someone calls his name*

" MAX "

*Max stops and looks at the person calling his name and what's even more shocking is that person pulls his hand making Max run with him*

*The person looks very serious and starts talking in a tired voice after running*

" What are you doing here? "

*Max is stunned. That person was so close to him. So close it makes it hard for him to breathe*

" I asked what are you doing here? "

[Finally, the person looked at Max after making sure the situation was clear outside the building. So close to each other... Making their lips almost touch. The sound of their breathing was clearly audible due to the awkward silence between them]

*The phone rings making them stop looking at each other. Thanks to the phone call, otherwise they'd probably be staring at each other for the rest of the day*

Leo: Mr ?! Where are you ?! *Leo starts to worry because his Mr. should be in the office, but he doesn't see any sign of his Mr.*

Nath: I have something to do. Umm, I'll be there in a few minutes.

Leo: Okay... please hurry. Neth will also be here in a few minutes.

*Nath hangs up the phone and looks back at Max*

Nath: You still haven't answered my question. What are you doing here 🤨?

Max: Umm, I... I'm just 😶 -

Nath: You just what ? If I hadn't been hiding here with you... My big brother might see us now and that would be a big problem. They'll think you're a crazy fan.

Max: This! *Max hands out the drinks and food he prepared as well as the flowers he bought earlier in the morning*

Max: I just want to give this to you. I really want to apologize. *Looking at Nath's hand which is still bandaged*

*Nath still can't believe Max came to his place to apologize properly*

Max: Umm, I prepared food for you and here's your favorite drink, Earl Grey. Sorry your drink is cold, maybe you can try reheating it later. If you want to drink it cold, you can add ice later.

[Nath, trying to hide his smile. Max was very nervous in front of him. Max's different side makes Nath think "His face looks fierce but cute" ]
