Max decided not to make any calls. He silenced his phone 📵—he didn’t want to receive any notifications from anyone.

On his way to the office, Max suddenly heard Raff talking about someone who had been bothering him all day—the same person who nearly made him lose his temper by not replying to his messages 😤.

Max paused, then casually walked toward the café counter. He pretended to be checking the area, but in truth, he was eavesdropping on his employees’ conversation about Nath 🤭.

Lily: Wow, this is so unfair. As a woman, I shouldn’t feel insecure, but Nath is so beautiful 😍.

Noah: He looks so pale. You all know he literally looks like a vampire 🧛‍♂️.

Raff: You're the vampire, Noah. You read too many vampire comics 😑. He's human... a real human, born perfect ✨.

Chris: My future boyfriend ☺️.

Raff: Keep dreaming. He’s not going to be your boyfriend 😏.

Chris: Jealous much 🙄 ?

Out of curiosity about Nath, Max suddenly questions his staff, pretending not to know who they’re talking about 🙄.

Max: Who are you talking about ?

Raff: Ohh, Boss ! You're here too. We're talking about Natha Ethan Jace ☺️.

Raff grabs the phone from Lily’s hand and shows Max a video of Nath smiling while cutting the ribbon for the JACE family’s new shop somewhere overseas ✂️🌍.

Raff: He’s trending on X app 📱🔥.

Raff suddenly leans in and whispers into Max’s ear -

Raff: Boss... your biggest enemy 😅.

Max: Shut up, Raff 🙂.

Raff: Ugh… you’re creepy 😖.

At that moment, Max finally realizes why Nath hasn’t replied to his messages. Nath is clearly busy. What surprises him more is how fast Nath managed to be in another country—especially since he had just dropped Max off that very morning. Max sighs, thinking… of course Nath would ignore texts that seem unimportant.

Max sits quietly in his office. Slowly, he pulls out his phone from his pants pocket and installs the X app for the first time 📲. He’s never been a social butterfly—his only social media account is Instagram, which he uses solely to update about new food or promotions for his café 🍰☕.

Raff was the one who tried to convince Max to open his own Instagram account to gain more followers. With a face like his, Raff argued, Max could easily attract younger customers 😍. But Max refused—he didn’t want the headache of figuring out which pictures to post. Besides, he never considered himself photogenic.

“Excuse me ? Max, not photogenic ? Dear Max, you don’t need to be photogenic. You’re already handsome without even trying — Sincerely, the Author 🌼”

After much hesitation, Max finally began installing the X app. It took him nearly 25 minutes just to come up with a username. Eventually, he settled on @MMaxmaxxxx 🤭. Once logged in, Max started exploring trending topics.

To his surprise, Nath was the number 2 trending name on X app. He instantly tapped on the topic and began scrolling. Post after post, article after article—Max read everything about Nath. Without realizing it, he had spent nearly an hour glued to his phone, immersed in Nath’s updates.
