CHAPTER 24 - GOOD BOY 👨🏻‍🦱

Nath: Get in the car.

Max: Your car ? Why do I have to get in your car ? I have my own car.

Nath: Do you want to finish the 30% apology quickly ? Then you better listen to what I said earlier 🙂.

Max: Where are we going ? I'll drive my own car and follow you from behind 😌.

Nath: I don't trust you... Get in my car now.

Max: Little devil 😒.

Nath: Devil ? I'm the best devil you've ever met ☺.

Max couldn't do anything. He had no choice but to obey Nath for now. That was the only way he could escape from Nath’s crazy plan.

Max sat in the passenger seat without looking at Nath. His expression showed clear frustration, but he remained quiet, afraid of damaging Nath’s car. He knew Nath’s car was worth more than his own life… so he had to be extra careful.

Nath: You look really tired… You can sleep, naa. We still have a lot of time before we get there.

Max: Can you just tell me where we’re going at 1:15 in the morning ? Look at the road—it's so dark… Everyone else is already home, having a wonderful dream.

Nath: We’re on our way somewhere 😊.

Max: Somewhere where ? Can’t you just name the place? Why are you making our conversation more complicated 🙂 ?

Nath: I’m not trying to make it complicated. I just told you to rest. If you're cold, there’s a blanket in the back seat. You can use it to cover yourself.

Max: I don’t need it… If I fall asleep, I won’t know where you’re taking me.

Nath: Think whatever you want 😉.

Without realizing it, Max fell asleep. Nath parked the car for a moment just to pull the blanket over Max’s body.

Nath: Didn’t you say you wouldn’t sleep ? “ He whispered to himself, watching Max sleep peacefully ”

“ It was almost 3 AM, yet they still hadn’t reached their destination. Where exactly were they going, Nath 🤔? Sincerely, the author 🌼 ”

3:57 AM. Finally, the sleek gray Volkswagen Phaeton W12 arrived at its destination. The powerful sound of crashing waves echoed through the air. Nath stepped out of the car, grabbed a few things, and returned to wake Max, who was still fast asleep.

Nath stared at Max’s face for a moment and smiled. Then, with a soft voice, he gently woke him up.

Nath: Max ? Hey… wake up, please.

Max didn’t respond, only letting out a small murmur— “ Mmmmmm…”

Nath: Wake up… We’ve arrived. “ This time, he whispered directly in Max’s ear ”

Still, there was no response.

Nath: Good boy… Please wake up.

Nath smirked and suddenly blew softly into Max’s ear—twice.

Max jolted awake instantly.

Max: Whoa— ! Why are you so close to me ? Move your face ! It’s too close to mine!
