Someone knocks on the door of Nath's room

Leo: Mr ? Have you slept yet ?

Nath: Come in... I haven’t slept yet.

Leo: This hot Earl Grey tea☕ is for Mr. Natha. I don’t want you to catch a cold—especially on a rainy day like this. Mr. always gets sick easily.

Nath: Thank you, Leo. I love rainy days, but I hate the fact that I get sick so easily when it rains 🌧.

Leo: Mr... your nose is red. Hurry, drink the tea. If you're not feeling well, let me know.

Nath: Alright. Leo... you should go rest now. I’m fine.

Rainy days always make Nath sick—maybe it’s the weather. It’s not that Nath can’t stand the cold, but his body just can’t handle rainy days. Even when he stays inside, he still catches a cold🤒.

He had been hospitalized several times just for running through the rain without an umbrella to reach his university dorm. It wasn’t that far—only a few minutes—but he still got sick😷.

Nath: Hmmmmm… tea… I wonder what drink he likes ? “Thinking about Max”

Nath suddenly started wondering what Max would drink on a rainy day like this. It was almost 06:00 in the morning, and Nath still hadn’t fallen asleep. He gazed at the raindrops sliding down the wide bedroom window that gave a clear view of the front yard. The house felt so empty.

The front yard is mostly filled with supercars. Nath is too lazy to watch Leo drive each car back to the garage, so he tells Leo to park all of them in front of the house—just so the yard doesn’t look so empty.

It’s also more convenient for Leo in case of an emergency. But even though Nath owns many cars, he still can’t drive himself to most places. Just like when he was studying in New York, it was always Leo who drove him wherever he needed to go.

Since Nath returned from New York... the first time he drove a car was probably when he was found passed out drunk in front of Max’s café, Rainbowall. The second time was when he secretly went to the beach with Max. Most of the time... Leo is the one behind the wheel.

Nath: Beach ? When will I get to drive to the beach again 🌊 ?

He suddenly remembered how he might have lost his phone. Maybe he dropped it somewhere after getting out of the car, or perhaps it was lost at the airport—on his way to Shanghai to attend an event promoting the latest products from his company, MeNu Perfume & Cosmetic Skincare / MeNu_P&C’s.

That day, Nath had a midday flight to Shanghai—the same day he returned from the beach with Max. Everything was chaotic. He got home late and nearly missed the flight. That’s why he assumed his phone must’ve been lost at the airport.

Nath didn’t even realize his phone was missing until he arrived at the Shanghai airport. He panicked so much that his bodyguard thought something terrible had happened. But it wasn’t just about the phone📱...

What truly made him panic... was the fact that he couldn’t remember Max’s number. After all the effort it took to get it, he had lost the phone before even memorizing it.

And the worst part is—he won’t be returning to his hometown anytime soon, probably for another two months, all because of his business schedule. He wasn’t just promoting his brand in Shanghai ; he was flying to other countries as well. Which meant... he couldn’t contact Max.
