Max arrives at his Rainbowall Café, where Lyn is already waiting for him outside. He knows exactly what questions she is about to ask. Stepping out of his car, he pretends as if nothing happened.

Lyn runs toward him, just as Max predicted. Without wasting a second, she bombards him with questions.

Lyn: I didn’t see you bring anything back. Does that mean you gave everything to Nath ??? Or... did you just throw it all away 🙂 ?

Max: Lyn, as you can see, my hands are empty. I’m sure you know what that means—I gave everything to him.

Lyn: Really ?? What about your car ?

Max: Feel free to check my car if you want 😌.

Lyn: How can I believe you ? Prove it 🙂.

Max: Prove it ??? Wait, here… Max pulls out his phone and shows her a message from Nath.

Lyn: Oh my god ! Oh my god ! Nath texted you ? That’s great! I believe you now. That’s my brother 😘 !

Finally, the issue with Lyn is resolved. She won’t pester Max with questions about Nath anymore 😌.

Max: Lyn… What time do you plan to go back to university ?

Lyn: Probably around 3 p.m. Why ?

Max: Do you want me to drive you back ?

Lyn: No need. You should take care of your precious café 😉.

Max: Are you sure ? You’ll be fine ?

Lyn: Max, I’ll be fine. I’m an adult 🙄.

Max: No, you’re not. You’re still my little sister. And more importantly, you need to eat something before you leave.

Lyn: Then cook for me.

Max: Cook what ? What do you want to eat ?

Lyn: My brother’s famous spaghetti carbonara.

Max: As you wish, my princess.

At 3 p.m., Lyn leaves her brother’s café and heads back to university.

Raff: Max ? Your sister’s gone ?

Max: Yeah… Why do you sound happy ?

Raff: Happy ? Me ? 🙄 Look at me crying ☹️. “ Sarcastic 😂 ”

Max: Do you perhaps… like my sister ?

Raff: What do you mean by “ LIKE ” ?? Max ! Are you crazy ? Why would I like your sister ? She’s nothing but trouble !

Max: Who knows… maybe one day you’ll fall for her. And if that happens, I’ll give my blessing since you’re a good guy—even though you act crazy.

Raff: Max… are you trying to set me up with your sister ??? You’re crazier than me.

Max: Why are you so serious 😅 ? I was just joking. Besides, my sister doesn’t like you either… so don’t worry.

At 11:00 p.m., the “ OPEN ” sign flips to “ CLOSED ”. The employees bid farewell to their beloved boss.

Raff: Boss, don’t go home too late naa.
