CHAPTER 47 - THE HIGH RISK ⚠️

Everyone in the "Jace Legacy: The 2nd" office was surprised. Someone who looked so familiar suddenly appeared without any warning. For the first time, they saw Mr. Neth’s younger brother up close.

Why were all eyes on Nath like that ? Because this was the first time Nath had ever visited his brother’s workplace. Leo could already predict what might happen between Mr. Natha and Mr. Neth. What if they ended up arguing and someone overheard it ? What if rumors started to spread ?

Leo: Mr. Natha… please don’t fight with Mr. Neth naa.

Nath: Did I come here to fight with him 😌 ?

Leo: Promise me you won’t fight with your brother. If outsiders find out... it could turn into a huge issue... naaa ? “He whispered nervously”

Nath: If he doesn’t ruin my mood 🙂, then fine.

As they stepped into the elevator, Leo let out a quiet sigh of relief—they were finally out of everyone's line of sight. Nath might not care about all the admiring eyes focused on his striking face ✨, but Leo was clearly anxious.

Observing the atmosphere around them, Leo started to worry. What if people began to notice that Mr. Neth and Mr. Nath didn’t share a good relationship as brothers ?

Leo: Please talk nicely with Mr. Neth. I believe he’ll understand.

Nath: I can’t promise that 🙄.

It was the first time Nath had ever set foot in his brother’s office. Neth, who was focused on reading some documents, was startled by the sound of someone opening his office door. He wondered which employee was bold enough to enter without knocking. But like everyone else… he was stunned to see his stubborn younger brother standing there.

Nath: No need to look so shocked 😏.

Neth: Of course I’m shocked. My stubborn little brother walked into my office without knocking. Isn’t that a bit rude ?

Nath: How cliché 😒.

Neth: What are you doing here ?

Nath: I came to discuss something.

Neth: I don’t have time to deal with trivial matters 🙂.

Nath: It’s about the MeNu_P&C’S event this Saturday.

Neth: Is there a problem with the event ? Or… do you just not want to attend it 😌 ?

Nath: I haven’t even finished talking, but you already cut me off 🙃 Isn’t that a rude attitude too ? “Throwing his brother’s sarcasm right back at him”

Neth: Whatever. Just tell me—what do you want from me ? 😌

Nath: Listen, I know everyone already agreed on which perfumes will be on the front display for this Saturday’s event, but I have an idea. What if we change them to "Calaeno" and "Helvetios" ?

Neth: Change them suddenly ? Don’t make reckless decisions. You know the front display is supposed to feature our best-selling perfumes— "Pegasus" and "Auriga". We can’t just swap them out for "Calaeno" and "Helvetios" —perfumes that only a small group of people like.
