CHAPTER 27 - SECRETLY STARED 🧐

FYI - Start from now on, I will not use any of MAXNAT photo for this Fanfic because it's hard to find a photo to suit the situation.

[Nath finished packing everything. Max saw Nath walking towards the car. Max immediately turned his face away and pretended to ignore Nath]

*Nath enters his car and looks at Max. Max didn't move and Nath asked in a whisper..*

Nath: Max, are you sleeping 😶?

*Max doesn't sleep.. he just doesn't know how to react when Nath is around him*

Nath: Max? I need to know your home address. *Nath touches Max's shoulder*

*Max pretends that he's awake and starts yawning to make Nath believe that he's really asleep*

Max: What are you asking me?

Nath : Your home address? I need to set my car Map. I'll just drive you back to your place.

Max: Owhh, my address *Max suddenly stopped talking 😐*

[Max thinks about maybe he shouldn't tell Nath where he lives. He doesn't want Nath to know where he lives so Max twists his words]

Max: Umm, send me back to the cafe 😐.

Nath: Really?? You don't want to change all your clothes?

Max: It's okay.. Remember, I left my car at the cafe. So, I have to go back to the cafe soon 🙂

Nath: But I can wait for you to shower and send you back to the cafe.

Max: No. No.. no need 🙂. I have some clothes left in the cafe. I'll just take a shower at the cafe.

[Max tries to find many excuses because he doesn't want Nath to send him home. What worries Max the most... What if Nath suddenly targets his house just because he didn't get the footage? For him, it was enough that Nath kept showing up at his cafe]

Nath: Your boss must be nice to allow staff to shower at work😌.

Max: You're right. He's the nicest person I've ever met * Max looks for an opportunity to praise himself 🤭 *

Nath: Does that mean your boss has returned from the outstation? I hope to meet your boss soon. Like you said, he's nice so I can talk to your boss about the CCTV footage😌.

*After hearing what Nath said earlier.. Max pretends to be sleeping. He doesn't want to answer any questions from Nath*

Nath: Pretending to sleep? *Nath smiles at Max who tries to avoid his question*

[Nath pulls the blanket that is placed on the back seat. Max who was just pretending to sleep suddenly felt something fluffy placed on his body. Nath covers Max's body making Max feel uncomfortable.. why is Nath doing all these nice things to him?]

[Suddenly, Max remembers that he also got a blanket covering his body when he woke up from his sleep early in the morning when they arrived at the beach. Max thinks if Nath also covers his body because Max remembers he didn't take the blanket from the back seat]

Nath: Have a good rest☺.

[Max doesn't know what he feels. Max felt his heart jump out of his body. Why did Nath have to say something near his cheek. Max had the feeling that his face was turning red. Max keeps hoping Nath doesn't see his embarrassed face]

[Nath starts driving his car. Max who was pretending to sleep slowly opened his eyes trying to spy on Nath who was focusing on his driving. Max didn't even blink as he watched Nath drive but immediately closed his eyes again after hearing Nath cough]
