Aside from thinking about Max, Nath also found himself reflecting on the conversation he had with his parents while in England. His parents currently live there to oversee their international business operations.
They decided to personally witness how their company was doing in England—and more importantly, to observe how well Nath could handle everything on his own, without any help from his brother Neth or his sister Mer.
But the one thing Nath absolutely loathes is seeing his parents—especially his father. Running the business to uphold the family's legacy feels more like a punishment than a privilege. The most frustrating part is being forced to follow their rules 😌.
Nath loves his mother, but not his father. While his mother also hoped Nath would follow the family legacy, she at least gave him some space to live his own life. But when it comes to his father—everything becomes unbearable. Every conversation turns into a battlefield. Great wars always erupt between the two of them ⚔️.
Never-ending bullets of words fly whenever they talk to each other. If his big sister Mer isn’t around to calm things down, his mother steps in as the shield—making sure her loved ones only battle with words, not fists. Still, she has no idea when the cold war between her husband and their youngest son will ever end🔫.
His mother often tries to convince her husband not to be so hard on Nath, but he never listens. Most people see his father as a great man—someone who has successfully preserved the family legacy. But to Nath, there are no beautiful words to describe his father figure.

Dad: How’s business ?
Nath didn’t respond to his father’s question.
Dad: Are you deaf ? Didn’t you hear what I asked ?
Mom: Honey… please don’t raise your voice.
Dad: I spoke to him nicely, and he just ignored me! Has he gone mute now ?
Mom: Nath, dear… how’s the business going ?
Nath: It’s okay, Mom 😊.
Dad: “Okay” ? That’s all you can say ? You didn’t learn anything while running the business ? What’s the point of having a degree if you give me such stupid answers !
Nath: You don’t remember ? You forced me to study business at NYU against my will ! You knew I hated it, but you still sent me there. Luckily, I was good enough to finish my studies—and just so you know, I didn’t do it for you. I did it for my big sister and my mother! I didn’t want to break their hearts 🙂 !
Dad: “Lucky,” you say ? If I hadn’t given you this wealth, you wouldn’t be living a good life. You should be grateful for everything I’ve done for youv! Show some respect to your father, you ungrateful child !
Nath: That’s right—I’m not grateful. Maybe if you had given me some of your attention when I needed it… I would be.🙂 But where were you ? Did you even wish me a happy birthday ? You didn’t. But my mother, my brother, and my sister did. Do you even want me, Neth, and Mer to be your children—or are we just people born to take care of this shitty family legacy ?!
Mom: Nath, don’t say that… I love each of my children😢.
Nath: Mom, I know you love me, Neth, and Mer. But I was asking your husband ! Has he ever asked me what I truly want ? No ! Never ! And now he wants me to show him respect ? How can I respect someone who hasn’t given me attention or love since the day I was born !!
