I woke up before Hailey did. The pale light shining on her olive skin tone made it glow in the slightest bit, her lips were just the slightest bit apart. I really wanted to kiss her so badly, I missed the way our lips moved together. The craving intensely ate at me, but instead I watched her sleep before getting up; putting my shoes on, throwing a towel over my shoulder, taking my shirt off and heading downstairs. I'd expected Nancy to be the first one up, because she seems like the type, but the house was quiet, nobody was up but me.

I walked outside taking a breath of the fresh morning air. I looked around and stripped down, yes... I'm going skinny dipping. Not everyone has that luxury and I'm taking advantage of Hailey's grandparents house being on lover's lake. The water was cold against my skin and the sun hiding behind the clouds didn't do anything to heat up the water and the fact that it's mid November in Indiana also took part in it being freezing. I swam around for a bit to distract myself from the shivers, but I wasn't about to leave... I'm not a pussy.

"Munson, what are you doing in the lake?! You're gonna catch a cold." Hailey asked, as she came out of the house wrapped in a fuzzy bathrobe.

I looked at her from the water, "Well, it looked like a beautiful day to go out for a swim."

"You're insane. We're in November." She grabbed my towel and shook it, "C'mon get out."

I turned red a bit, knowing damn well I didn't have any clothes on, "I can't."

"Why?"

"I'm not wearing anything."

She looked at me distraught, "You're in the freezing cold lake... butt naked."

"Yep. Sounds about right." I said with a shit eating grin.

"Ugh Eddie Munson you're gonna be the death of me." She pursed her lips and raised her eyebrows, "I'm still not leaving till you get out of the water."

"Then I'm not walking out yet," I argued, not wanting her to see me naked, and because the truth is I've never been naked in front of anyone.

"Edward Munson, out of the water right now" She said sternly as if she were my mom.

"Fine, but turn around." I waited for her to turn and face the house before getting out of the water, and took my towel from her hands, wrapping it around my waist, making sure nothing was hanging out, "Okay..."

She turned around and looked at me, "You're crazy."

I shook my head like a dog to get the water out of my hair making her squeal, and almost instantly after I did that it started pouring. We ran inside now both of us were drenched and I had forgotten my clothes out by the table.

"Now, I'm wet." She pouted.

"Your fault for going outside." I said slowly wrapping my arms around her to pull her into my chest

She smiled softly and accepted my embrace, "I wouldn't have had to go outside, if my Munson would've stayed in bed with me."

"Your Munson?" I asked with my eyebrows raised but a smile growing on my face.

"Yep." She smiled and looked up at me poking her lips out for a kiss and of course I kissed her. It's all I've been thinking about for the last few days.

Nancy came downstairs all dressed and packed up, "Hey Hailey, I'm gonna go check on Jonath-" She looked at us kissing, "Shit, I'm sorry for interrupting..."

Hailey pulled away from our kiss which made me frown a bit, "Is everything alright?" She asked Nancy, walking over to her and abandoning me. It was three steps, but I felt empty and the slightest bit jealous.
