Athena couldn't remember the last time she laughed so hard.  She was a terrible skater, losing count on how many times she fell and threatened Roman if he ever mentioned it.  He was a graceful skater, he spent most of his time going backwards so he faced her.

They ate greasy junk food and sang cheesy kids songs.  There was an arcade and Athena whipped Roman at pin ball and skee ball.  The shooter games they were evenly matched, one would get a high score then lose the next game.

They had to leave because Roman had to get a couple hours in at the gym and he had another surprise up his sleeve for later that night.  He enjoyed seeing a carefree side of her, from everything she's said, and hasn't, he knows she's spent too much time being serious.  She's young but hasn't experienced being young, and with her responsibilities he doubts she truly will.  He vows to himself to make her have fun.

After an intense workout, he had to push it harder with spending extra time with Athena, they headed back to his apartment for showers.  He wanted to join her, but knew if he did they wouldn't be leaving.  She needed to get back to the pack soon, which meant their alone time was nearing the end.

"You ready yet?"  He whined, checking the time again.  "It's getting late."

"Late?  It's only six thirty," she laughed at him while walking out of the bathroom, fully dressed.

"Yes, late!  We haven't eaten, and I'm starving!  I don't want to spend too much time out, I have a gorgeous mate to make love to tonight."  He said while putting his hands on her hips, bringing her against him.  "That's still strange to say out loud," he mumbled into her neck, kissing the hickey.

"Mmm you'll get used to it, my handsome mate."  She blushed, thinking about what he promised for later.

"We better go or I'll toss you on the bed now and have my way with you."  He attempted to step away but she wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him in place.

"Promise?"  Her boldness surprised her and she tried to backtrack. "I mean, you don't have to."

Roman kissed her, delving into her mouth before resting his forehead on hers.  "I want you to say anything that comes to you.  You drive me crazy!  I will ravish you, after.  Come on, let's go."  He grabbed her hand, pulling her out the door.

She had a blast at the skating rink, so Roman decided to take her to Pharaoh's Oasis.  It's a huge indoor park, with dozens of arcade games, bumper cars, go karts, billiard tables, lazer tag, a full service bar and restaurant.  The entire theme is Egyptian, from the designs on the cars to the names of the food dishes.  He came here once with some of his friends, they had a great time but it's too expensive for him to go often.  Spending money on her was worth the sparkle in her eyes and her child-like reactions. He suspected she bought a lot more tokens, by the mound of tickets she got from the games.

"That's it?  All these coupons and all I can get is a tiny toy?"  Her outrage made Roman snicker.  She narrowed her eyes at him and he tried his best not to laugh out loud.  He failed and she pouted.

Unable to fight her cuteness, he kissed her temple, "it's the gimmick sweetheart, they want you to buy more tokens but you could buy any of this stuff at a regular store at a fraction of the price."  He chuckled at her upset expression.

"It's not right, and stop laughing at me."  She poked him in the stomach when he laughed more.

"I can't help it, you're so adorable."  He pretended she hurt him, grabbing his middle.

"Oh stop, you big baby."  She giggled at him then kissed his lips.  "Better now?"

He hugged her close and whispered into her ear, " not quite, but you can make it up to me at home."
