"Goodmorning Alpha, goodmorning Luna."  Makenzie said, humor filling her voice.

"Goodmorning Makenzie!  It is an excellent day."  Roman smiled ear to ear.

"Alpha, Luna," acknowledged Victoria with a bow of her head.  "Have a good night?"  She could barely contain the smile on her face.

"The best, unforgettable really," he replied with a shit eating grin while Athena was red as a tomato.

"Will you stop?" She whispered yelled.

"Hell no," he laughed and she swore he was strutting around like a peacock while greeting pack members.  "Be proud your mate is a stud dear." He lightly smacked her butt, stunning her.

She covered her face with her hands, "I can't talk to anyone, I can't look at anyone without knowing they heard me say 'fuck me harder'!"

"If it makes you feel better, you didn't say it.  Artemis did."  With that, she smacked him on the back of his head.

"I'm going to my office to work."

As she stomped off, he admired her fabulous rear end, "you mean hide, dear?"  She made an aggravated noise before slipping around the corner and he laughed out loud.

"I don't have to ask if you enjoyed yourself last night,"  Stan said when Roman found him after having breakfast, alone, since Athena refused to be seen 'in public' with him today.

"You can if you want to," Roman said, still snorting about the whole thing.  To him, it was hilarious.

"No thanks, unless you want me to talk about how my wife wanted to know why I wasn't more like you."  He meant for his comment to chastise the younger man, but Roman howled with laughter.

"I can give you pointers if you like," Roman cracked up and Stan gave the evil eye, which only served to make Roman laugh more.

Giving up, Stan steered the conversation to the work that needed to be done that day.  Like the previous day, Roman went to the gym for a few hours in between helping with the construction.  Two of the buildings were almost complete, and he was thinking of having some sort of prize for whomever gets done first, considering separate teams worked on them.

Later that night, he talked to Athena about it.  "I was thinking of having a contest."

"For what?"

"For the team that gets finished first, the building with the most apartments ready to move in wins."

"Hm, what would the prize be?  Who would win?  The one in charge?"

"No, it should be everyone who helped build it.  I don't know what would be a good prize.  Do you like my idea?"

Athena hugged him, "no, I don't like it," his mood started falling, he thought it was great.  "I love your idea!"  She giggled then dissolved into more when he tickled her.

"You did that on purpose!"

"Yes, yes I did.  You deserve it, I spent all day avoiding everyone because of what you guys did."

"Ugh, it was funny."  He knew this was not a winning argument so he changed the subject.  "What kind of stuff do you guys like?  Usually prizes consist of money or food, but that doesn't seem to be an issue."

"Entertainment?" She asked.

"A weekend getaway?"  He said half heartedly.

"A getaway would get complicated, with asking permission to leave."

"It could just be in town, at a hotel?  It could be like a gift card?  Most hotels offer them now, that way when they want to go, it wouldn't be everyone at the same time?"  He said more as a question.
