Charlotte?

Yes Luna?  She was surprised he was talking to her through the link.  She checked the time and saw it was still early.  Everything OK?

It's wonderful but I was hoping you could do me a favor?

She quietly shrieked, they must've made up! Finally!  What do you need?

Food, we have drinks but neither Athena or I have gotten any groceries.  Think you could find some leftovers and leave them on the back porch?

Of course Luna!  I'd be happy to!

Thanks, I owe you.  For more than the food.

I'm just glad you're back together.  Give me thirty minutes.   Charlotte jumped out of bed and hurried to get dressed.  Running out of her room, her mother stopped her.

"Where are you going in such a rush?"  She chuckled, her daughter looked like the fires of hell were at her feet.

"I've got to go get some food for Alpha and Luna!"  She grinned knowingly.

"Oh thank the Moon Goddess!  It's about time those two realized what the rest of us see.  You need some help?"

"Sure, Luna said they had drinks but no food in their house."

By the time they got stuff ready, the rest of the pack heard the good news and more women came to prepare the meal for their Alpha and Luna.  Knowing the couple would probably be holed up together the whole day, the women sent enough meals for several days.

"Charlotte is bringing us food, I'm not letting you out of my sight."  He kissed her lips and went to get his stuff from the other bathroom.  He was moving back in their room right now.

"You called her?"  Athena got up to help get his clothes.

"I mind-linked her."  He grinned, slapping her butt.

"Ah, your so smart now, are you?"  She laughed and he felt lighthearted.

"Thanks to you.  I have a bone to pick with you, though."  He said as they walked into their room.  "I want you to take that wall down."

"What wall?"  She looked around the room and was confused.

Hw chuckled and flicked her nose, "you're too cute.  That stupid wall you put up between us, to keep your feelings from me."

"I don't keep everything from you."  He dumped his load in the bathroom to come out and wrap his arms around her.

"I can't stand walls between us, if we're going to make this work, you can't hide anything from me."  He kissed her head, holding her close.  "You had your guard down the other day, when you were talking to Artemis.  What do you feel that guilty about?"

"Everything?  Not being able to stop the asshole, for not seeing Ryan's involvement, the way we had to leave the pack.  You know everyone had to leave with nothing, right?  They packed one bag, one precious bag with all their possessions.  I don't care that I left stuff, but they had homes, and they left it all behind."  Tears spilled from her eyes, still wishing things could've been done differently.

"Oh sweetheart, you can't change any of that.  You need to let go of your guilt.  It's not your fault, and even if it was, our pack is doing just fine."  He rubbed her back, hoping to sooth her.
